I replaced my discs and pads a month ago on a second hand car i bought. After 2 days of driving the brake caliper decided to sieze up while driving causing smoke!! The car i bought must of been sitting around for such a long time that rust must of built u in the caliper piston and when new pads were installed the rust caused it to seize up! what a head ache! the smell was horrible haha. Good video! Subscribed.

I need to buy a tool for unwinding the the brake caliper. What would you say are the requiremements/specification? I have seen there are different models and differenst sizes of the actual circular pad that do the pressing. I suppose it must not be too big. What is the right size?

This guide was brilliant. My only query is that after following this guide I seem to have air on the brake pedal. Could it be that not opening the bleed nipple has pushed air into the system and damaged the brakes somehow?

excelent, but one thing in mind, when using ATE coated brake discs you don't need to degrease them (its says in manual) because paint prevents rust its not bare surface so it doesn't have any grease on, brake pads will clean disc surface after few miles
