If you can change your own oil, you can probably change your own power steering fluid. Just look up the specific procedure for your vehicle. You'll probably even find a video for your specific make/model on youtube.

Scott! What a difference after changing the power steering fluid in the reservoir. After doing the same to the master cylinder reservoir & cleaning the film out of the reservoir? Both the brakes & steering have a noticeable difference. Scott! If I’m listening to your videos I’m learning something. A Thousand Thanks. Mule.

I have Grand Cherokee WK that only has Full/Add on dipstick, do I check this hot or cold?

Scotty this car I bought in march of this year the reservoir has the lines but I can not see them it points to the left and the AC line is so close I can not see the full add lines the cap has no dip stick like my truck.I just guest and put some ATF fluid in it like my owner's manual shows.

My power steering stopped working after I refilled the coolant then I checked and it was low so I filled it IP then it got way worse any solutions?

My steering reservoir went empty, the truck started squeaking when turning the wheel, etc. so I got some stop leak power steering fluid. This ran out 3 days later, symptoms came back, so I put more in....well, today as I was parking at home I saw white smoke. under the hood and when I got out dripping fluid was everywhere under the engine and a place on the engine where bolts were there was fluid was escaping. Whats going on ?

Some people remove and replace the fluid in the reservoir a number of times running it through the pump and rack each time. This is just the dilution method of getting the fluid much cleaner, but it is easy to do and can't harm the system,.

It's Dexron not Dextron. It's says right on the cap.

I cannot find the god forsaken fluid tank. I see the oil one, water and that is it. Are there cars that have em hidden underneath the motor or something
