Great informative video but I think you missed on some critical issues. Like adjusting when you have the bike on it's center stand ( When the tyre is in air ) and when you sit on it. Under these conditions, the slack does change. I feel you could address this in later on or in the comments section. Thanks though. Wish you luck....
@@JeetBhaskar What I am trying to address is if this free play adjustment has to done when the rear wheel is on ground or in air and if on ground. Because this changes in either conditions. Hope this clarifies the situation.
Jeet I need your expetise. My bike KTM duke 250 bs4 variant continuously makes chain slider sliding noise. iIve cleaned chain and lubricated well and also adjusted in service center but still noise is there. Thanks in advance

M having problems my duke 200 get stuck sometimes in 3rd and 4th gear while giving throtel especially in uphill roads so is this happening because of expired chain's sprocket or by something else I ll thankful to you if you suggest anything
@@JeetBhaskar Chain is clean, and chain is not touching the swing arm but its touching to the plastic protector between swing arm (bottom side) and chain. Is the chain not supposed to touch the plastic protector too?

After third service on my Husqvarna 250, the service guy cleaned entire chain with diesel and lubed it. Since then, a ticking noise is coming from the chain. I have taken it to them multiple times and they adjust it saying it was tight and lube it again. The sound doesn't come until I've ridden the bike approx 10 km after that it makes the tick tick noise. Any solutions?
While going on bad roads my Duke 250 chain hitting to the swing arm and making noise like - tik tik - but the chain and sprockets are new and service guys telling that the chain is not loose or tight. What should I do????
It's due to uneven chain wear... Due to various reasons like hard acceleration, swingarm motion etc. A little uneveness is fine but if it's too much then you'll have to get the chain sprocket kit replaced

Maybe because suspension is stiff and travel is less. I think the longer the suspension travel is, the more slack you need. Off road bikes need a lot of slack. I think it's better to make it a little more loose than what the manual says in India because of bad roads. I think the chain and sprocket will take the force of hitting bad patches on roads if it's too right. It'll wear out the chain and sprockets quickly.
