Thanks for this video. So once i figured out where to put coolant and what they looked like, I was glad to know there were two!!! 1st doing this. This video was a big help!!!! Now if you can show me how to add air in my tire....😂🤦🏾‍♀️

Thank you for this video , the guy at the shop doing a oil change (EU shop) was consfused about the system said it was full but the light was still showing he didt know there was another system... Not going there again...

I checked both of mine & they both looked full as well & still can’t get the darn “check coolant level: see owners manual” message that LITERALLY pops up on the dash as does the “check oil levels @ next fill up” every 1-3 mins for the entire time I’m driving & can’t figure out HOW TO GET THE MESSAGES TO GO AWAY!.. please help!

Very good content as always and well done. I am glad that mine is E550 and only has one coolant reservoir to deal with :) By the way, take it easy with your wrist. If it is Carpal tunnel syndrome It takes time to heal. You shouldn't use that hand much.

I think you should do video on Turbo coolant lines when they go bad on your car There is no good video on this subject but they go out every 60k miles 👍🏻

Good informative video, keep up the good work bro! Quick question... I know the heater control valve is to the right behind the engine & the main water pump is in front of the engine, behind the fan... but where is the auxiliary coolant pump (electric water pump) located? Thanks

Thank you so much for your comment. If you have a 7speed transmission you should have a service tube that you can use to add oil if needed. If you have a 9speed there is no service or dipstick. You definitely need to change your transmission fluid. You have to change the bottom tray. Check out my transmission service video.

Should I buy the coolant and do a 50/50 mix with distilled water and the. Top up? I just saw you dump some coolant there not mixed with water.

Thank you for this video. I have the same car, tried to use the auxiliary heater a couple times and it didn't start. Now it says I need to add coolant. Never had this before.. I'm guessing the auxiliary heater is leaking somewhere since it circulates the coolant to heat it up. Although I heard you say "it's normal for the engine to burn some coolant". I thought this was a closed system and "burning" coolant could only result from a leak somewhere? I have a 2013 and never had to add coolant.

@@josecitomarin No codes. But i've heard the auxiliary heater has to be diagnosed separately. Both reservoirs had to be topped up a bit.

I inly like to use the Mercedes brad for coolant. I would also go by whatever FCPEURO says. They have liquimoli.

Is it OK If I don't mix the distilled water?.. Will it cause any harm if I put just pure coolant in the reservoirs?. Please help as I have been doing this..

That reservoir on the top of your engine is for the intercooler. The one on the fender is for your engine cooling system.

You have to vacuum the system. As far as I know you cannot just burp the system

Thank you so much for your comment. Which reservoir are you having to refill? Have you checked the reservoirs them selves? If you can’t find anything from the top, you have to take the covers off the bottom and look around. Maybe the turbo lines have leak

@@josecitomarin it’s the reservoir to the left of the engine but sometimes having to refill the middle one once in awhile, not sure if that’s normal but as of late the bigger one I’m having to refill after each drive now, can’t seem to find any leaks at the moment, it could be drying up fast

@@juniordace1347 you definitely have a leak in the high temperature system. You have to look under the car. It’s probably leaking in the covers that is why you don’t see it.

To replace those turbo lines do you need access under the car or the top engine area? Do you by chance have video of replacing those?

By chance does the coolant sometimes get into the washer fluid reservoir? I see some seepage coming from that as well

What would be the coolant type to buy from autozone?

Thank you so much for your comment. Make sure you don’t mix coolants. You should be able to use one at Autozone if you flush the entire system. Use the one for European cars of course. I would still use Mercedes coolant though.

Hi. Thank you so much for your comment. If you want to remove the throttle valve you have to remove charge air cooler with the valve then separate them once they are out. Not that easy or quick, but definitely doable. Before you do that, there are some coolant and vacuum lines involved, at least 8 of them. You also have to remove the low temperature coolant reservoir.
