Grovekeeper Topoda is one of the hardest bosses in Another Crab's Treasure and after dying countless times I found a cheese strategy to easily kill him without having to fully engage him and lead him to his death. The video explains how to cheese him.

You can get the coconut as an insurance item in the city. You can just die and respawn to have 2.

After you beat the boss that drops the map piece in the grove area, there's a net that drops off the side of the sushi boat. Take that net down and continue along the path. After quite a while you'll find him, the path is long but relatively straightforward.
