How to clean and cook snakeheads 

Awesome!Some times you just have to get past then ugly to find culinary delight.If I ever catch a snakehead I think I will try some creole magic and blacken it!Hopefully more people try them and can put a dent in an invasive species.Love it!

I'm a huge fan of these fish. They are delicious and are as fun as Large Mouth for sport fishing.

This is because snakehead fish contains high levels of vitamin A.

Fry with ginger & green onion,Shabu shabu with snakehead bone soup... Man,I need to get some of these now Ooooh one more thing can't be miss is that their head,the two piece of cheek meats are delicious too

I was told by a friend that old Snakehead tastes like a salt soaked catfish. Mild as heck but delicious

Snakehead chili!!

Put it put it in some cold water with lemon juice. It will take the slime right off.

Made me want to go fish for some. We don't have any in Texas....yet!

In China, Snakehead fish is not cheap. People eat it very common like Salmon.

Meat not browned enough for me.

I see a spot at the start of the tail. Snakehead don't have that as commonly (but they do have it). Male bowfin also have that spot. You wouldn't have any pictures of that fish when it was alive do you?

You sure do lose a lot of the edible meat when you slice off the skin. Looks like you cut off as much fish as you left. Wow how did it cook in less than a minute?

Your technique wasted a bunch of good meat. Not to mention that your fillet look like like pieces of fish.
