You used sea salt, didn't you? You should try using ionized A better way to clean the burnt bottom of pans is to put water in a larger pan, place it on a burner, add water, degreasing agent, soap, and salt. Bring to boil while placing the burnt bottom of the pan you're trying to clean into the mixture. After boiling the pan bottom for a while to soften the caked on grease, remove it, then scrub the bottom of the pan with a scouring brillo pad. It'll remove the outer layer of the grease. Rinse it off and return it to the boiling water to soften the next later. Do this repeatedly till it's clean.
