Air flow goes to intake, intake through engine then through the exhaust which gets to your egr valve. Reason you gotta hold it at 2000rpm is the open the valve, allowing the mixture to clean the clogged up carbon and whatever. It takes a lot to locate, remove and clean an egr valve. So next best thing is egr spray, unless it's stuck open or closed, then you need to replace it
Need to change oil after this operation Be careful soot is going to leak through piston rings (blow by passes ) to your oil causing harsh oil which may damage your engine or increase oil consumption lest worst case
Have you watched a video of how to remove egr valve? Cause i found only similar model of mine and want to clean it by myself, i have the model of this video.
@@Mr330d the First time it took me 15 minutes. Now 5 easy. I mean it isnt something that cant be done without special tools . You just remove engine cover and you can make it. And much better results. I doubt this helps in the video
Tomtolin así no limpias la egr porque el turbo manda el líquido del spray a los cilindros y se quema en la cámara de combustión. Para limpiar la egr tienes que desmontarla 🤣🤣🤣
@@ZutiDIY it is strictly useless at all, more damage than good to the engine, on this type of engine the EGR valve is not complicated to disassemble and then clean PROPERLY.
Do not do this shit! It will NOT clean the egr valve… do yourself a favor a buy a replacement or dismantle the old one and professionally clean it… a bad egr will ruin not only the fun in driving but also your engine at one point ( turbo etc.)
you didn't clean the EGR dude...if anything you dissolved crap and sent into the engine...it takes a LOT of work to clean the EGR valve + intake + pipes...and that you certainly didn't do...
