In today's video I am testing to see if I can clean my glass shower doors with lemon. There is a solid build up of soap scum and hard water residue, so I decided to test the lemon method.
I normally clean the glass shower doors with white vinegar, so I will compare which one works better.
Cleaning the glass shower doors with lemon wasn't hard at all. And if I ever have extra lemons that are about to go bad, I will use them to clean my glass shower doors with them.

I actually have a lemon tree in my backyard that I planted from a seed from a store -bought lemon about 12 years ago!

I had to laugh when I started watching this because the ad that ran was about buying shower doors! your before and after pictures are quite a shock. I've never tried lemon but this is excellent on using lemons that are going bad. And I'd think the smell would never be as strong as vinegar. Thanks Sasha!👍

I clean houses and ive been watching many videos to become a better house cleaner. But first try them on my house , i cant wait to try the lemon on shower doors.

Hi Susy! The lemon works really well on glass doors! I am about to do it again this week. I drove by a house with a lot of lemon trees on the street. I stopped and picked a few from the ground - some are still good for eating but the bad ones I will use for the shower doors. I am staying in an apartment in Chiang Mai, Thailand. When I complained that I cannot see my face in the bathroom mirror the cleaner and assistant manager just shrugged their shoulders and said it cannot be cleaned. I am not going to be very popular when I show them your video. 😜

I tried this and it worked on years old hard water buildup. The lemon slice hurt my hands but the acid really is strong enough to be a cleaning agent.

Hi Luna! I actually, now think I like the way lemon works way better than the vinegar. A client of mine gave me bunch of lemons that were growing on her street and I've used them for cleaning quite a bit. Give it a try - you might have to leave it sit a bit longer and apply it a few times. But if I have to rate it, I am putting it right up there with the white vinegar :)
