Awesome video Vicky. I've had my 4000 for probably 15 years. This is the first maintenance I've performed. Worked incredibly well, this printer's a workhorse...my biggest issue is the frequency with which I have to replace my maintenance tank. (lots of printing) Thanks for your help!

Yes! Thanks, so much. I thought I would have to punt and get a new printer. The cleaning mess was considerable...but, that was my fault. No PM since I bought the 4800 four years ago. The results was worth the time and sweat (again, my bad due to lack of PM). Much to my surprise, I am back to producing professional level photos, both on glossy as well as canvass. THANKS!

Great video! My 4880 nozzles seem to be clogging more frequently and this will hopefully fix the problem. I have a question (which is probably a really dumb one): I thought "Simple Green" was 'green'. Does it come in a 'purple' version also?

In the video, the liquid in the bottle is a purple color -- that's what confused me. :-)

I ordered simple green on the net after seeing your video. However, I got a bottle of concentrated simple green 2 oz. (59 ml). Before use, this has to be diluted to 17 oz. (502 ml). Shall I do this first and then dilute it once more to 50%, before I use it cleaning the printer heads?

Try head cleaning, flushing as outlined in video. Call your tech support if that doesn't help.

The pump phaser sensor is malfunctioning. It is located within the pump assembly. Hope this helps.

estoy muy arrepentido de confiar en su marca les compre un plotter s30670 que nunca funciona bien aparte no me dan el servicio tecnico tengo las mismas fallas desde que me lo instalaron asta un mes para atenderme y el equipo sige igual no engañen a sus clientes diciendo que son confiables ya no se que hacer para que funcione ni mi provedor ni epson mexico me resuelven el problema
