figures.. yeah i've got a wf 7610, have never maintained the the caps (oops) going on 5 years. i have a ciss of pigments. the nightmare is when the ink levels are down and it requires a push of the CISS button to reload the ink levels, it'll go through that cycle, and after that cycle is when I start getting blocked heads (air). it takes about 8-10 head cleanings to get it working, however no ink is actually wasted during these head cleanings because nothing's coming out (i suspect low suction going on in the capping station)... wasn't till i read recently that having to head clean so much might be an issue with the cap, so i'm gonna give this a try and see if the next ink reload cycle works... it sucks because even though i'm not wasting ink in the head cleanings, the box reports that it's filling up and requires a box replacement after so many head cleans. I hate doing that...
Not sure if you will see this comment but I have an Epson C3500 that has sat around for 18 months without printing. The printer keeps saying Nozzle Clogged and the feed tubes are full of air. I have performed this pump cap sponge clean multiple times but to no avail. I have also removed the print head and flushed that and it is not clogged. Any idea how I can get the print to purge and prime the ink feed tubes? Thanks.
