@doublecomm you do not need to shake it if you allready mixed your gas and oil thus is being called pre-mix and it also does not Settle so there is zero need to shake your machine unless your one of those street hooligans that gas up your smoker at 7/11
i have a 2004 Cr 250 , takes a couple kicks to start , even with a fresh top end , it has a smart carb meant for 40:1 premix but ive been running 32:1 , maybe thats causing the hard start issue.
Nice hard kickstarting there dude. Just how I start my Yz490. Hold the clutch in when you kick it over. Takes the strain off the gearbox. I always hold the clutch in when I start a bike.

Doesn't start as easy as his. 10 or 15 kicks like him to get it going when it's cold. Gotta really get high off the seat and give it everything you got kicking over a 490. Feels great though kicking the shit out of it.
Here’s an idea, after the first kick add the nastiest fart sound on the internet you can find and add it in right when it’s supposed to start up lmao 😂
@@tatemushroom1002 no I mean twisting the throttle while kicking it over and have the choke on. It’s common knowledge you don’t give a 2 stroke throttle ever when starting it
Some people don’t take care of their carburetors so they have to give it a little bit of throttle Because there pilot jet (idle jet) is gunked 2 stroke or 4 stroke it should start fine without throttle and choke on
