This is just cleaning. These parts are very precious conponents. You can not realise wears without special instruments. Inside the fuel nozzle there are very tiny ports that wears over the time and only solution is replacement. When you pass specified milage you need to replace. Thanks for your video at least people can see whats inside of fuel injector.
Those were working properly, and only needed a cleaning. Ask any shop if they will take them apart and if they are ok clean them and put them back for free. In the USA they replace everything. In other parts of the world the fix what they have.
@@oczhaal there is no need to replace the whole injector there is parts of them that need to be replaced depending on the usage it has yet if you take a injector that's running 500k kilometers and clean it like he did it will run much better period

C'est démonté n'importe comment sans aucune précaution, y a aucun relevé des pièces d'usure, de changement des composants d'étanchéité, de vérification des pressions en sortie conformément aux données du fabricant etc ... C'est même pas du nettoyage vu l'état du poste de travail tout dégueulasse ! Tu remonte ça dans un moteur et tu risque la casse juste derrière! Faut pas comparer le Pakistan avec la France, ça va pas la tête ???!
Very good video. Anyone good with the spanners can do this. Its all diesel injections workshops do but charge many £00's for the work which is a simple job..

@@ssss-df5qz no brother! It is better to unscrew the whole engine and put another one in, I always tie a rope so the engine is secure..no need for engine mounts!

In USA no mechanic would work on injectors the way you did. It will cost a fortune the hourly rate of a mechanic is about $150.00 dollars for labor only . Plus over price parts they will just replace them for new ones and only God. Knows if the parts are original or cheap aftermarket . that's if you can find an honest mechanic 😁😁😁
could you help?, i have one but the center spindle , ie the long one, is very tight when i undid it, i dont know why, ive used 2000 cloth on it but still very tight, is it knackered?
I think that work should not be compared with the work we do in specialised shops in the western world. I am working in Cambodia and do a lot of injectors. A certified Bosch service center is far away. You got to work that way. Yes torque wrenches are essential and knowing the specs too but in the end this are just injectors. You gotta organise your work station though. One little 0.5mm sized shim falls down and you are effed... Still this guy cleans them, regardless any safety measures. They will work on the 2KD Toyota ...they might be running a bit rough though on a Ford...😂

Considering the final filter for most high pressure common rail systems is 5 micron spray cans and open air is enough to contaminate and plug the jets. Also don’t prefill fuel filters for common rail, the dust in the fuel can damage the injectors.
Just because the filter is filtering anything over 5 microns doesn't mean any impurity over that size will plug the jets if it passes through. Most channels inside the injector are substantially larger than 5 microns, including the jet holes. Yes things need to be kept clean, but this isn't a space rover or a NASA machinery that needs to go to Mars, its just a diesel injector on a diesel car.
@@davidsignor7931 it is, but it will quickly pass through the system and get expelled out, it would take way more than some micron size contaminants to result in a failure. this is how millions and millions of injectors are cleaned throughout the world for decades already, if it didn't work and failure was so common due to cleaning with plain petrol, people wouldn't do it no more and they would get some labcoat to do it in a vacuum chamber. but its not needed.
so took apart diesel injector on messy dirty bench and put internal part in a magnetic tray. assemble injector without torqure wrench testing injector by directly power the injector from a battery. wow. looks like kids playing with mud

When I inserted an aerosol can tube into the nozzles instead of a vaporised spray from the jet holes all I got was a non-vaporised straight flow of WD40. Is this OK or do I need new nozzle tips. All 4 tips were the same with no evidence of vaporised spray. Thanks.

Tight with proper torque wringh proper tightening and also cover with glass cover box injector testing time don't spray diesel outside because of the safety.
do you konw the number on top of injector for? do you konw how fast those injector works between pilot and main injection? those injector not design to open like this !

this is another reason why i own a petrol combustion engine. All i do is take them out flush them then put them back in, simple. If they dont work chuck them away and then buy genuine ones. Not rocket sience.
