Once again, thanks for taking the time to produce this video. I live in London so unfortunately it's hard for me to support you by using your store but if I did live in the US I would definitely use scooterwest.
I am restore my 2007 Piaggio mp3 250ie! The first owner had it sitting in the garage long time! Thanks Mr. Robot all the video because I learn how to work on my scooter!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! It's hard to find individual videos on the ET4 to work on things. This way I can access this video for different things I need to do. I have a 2005 ET4 150CC. I love it! But she has a few little issues - one turn signal not working, the clock stopped, etc. Would love to fix these things and get her tip top. Repairs at a mechanic always are so expensive. I'd rather fix myself if possible. Now I feel like I can! Thank you so much!
I really miss my Et Vespas! I had a brand new Et2 50 in 1998, a used pre-LEADER Et4 125 in 2001 and another used LEADER Et4 125 in 2012. I had a 2005 Vespa PX150 and in 2014 I bought a brand new Vespa LX 125 3 Valve i.e. (Never sold in the US) that is my current Vespa (in the rare Verde Portovenere color!). But the Vespa I miss the most was my Et4 125 Pre-LEADER. The same that Robot owns in silver, mine was Blu Livorno. I'm from Italy, the home of this Vespas :)
Great video!🥰😍🙋🏻🙌🏽👌🏼👏🏼 Very knowledgeable, detailed, I can tell you enjoy what you do; the best way to work! I have an Et 4 150 2001 just like the one you are working on. Almond and royal blue with case on the back. I just had a little problem with the brakes froze on as when I accelerated fell. The wind shield broke and the left mirror got loose. 🥺😔
MERCI BEAUCOUP !!! Thanks for this useful video! Thank you very much for your valuable help.👍 It helps me a lot to repair my old ET4 !!! Many greetings from Paris/France
That et4 is looking very good!! Looks pretty much brand new. Wish i had one in that condition. I have a et2 myself and fully restored it. Looks pretty good but far from the one in this video.. thanks for the video again!!
Great info! At 29:39, I removed that clip entirely (that holds the seat lock In) and can’t get it back in. 😐 Any tricks to that? Should I order a new clip?
Hi Robot, the plastic glovebox on my LX50 will not clip into the beading on both sides. It seems to be warped. Do you have any tips on fixing this problem? Thanks for your videos, they have helped me so much! All the best.
Hello robot I have a 1998 Vespa et4. a few years ago I had a collision with a car at around 30mph which bent the front forks so I replaced them with a 2nd hand pair of forks but I’ve noticed my front tyre wears uneven on one side is it possible the tube that the forks slide through is bent or do you think the 2nd hand forks are bent thanks
Before touching any wiring make sure you disconnect the battery first. It is alarming this basic step is omitted, as it is in the workshop manual and I have completely dismantled/reassembled my ET4 125 Leader many times here in England. I always take these videos with a pinch of salt, as their posturing will not fix your scooter if it goes awry and they will definitely not answer your queries. It can be a right pain in the butt if your ride is your commute to and from work.
