I have the Bose acoustmass 500 speaker system and a Yamaha HTR-5760. I connected the outputs to the cube speakers and the inputs to the receiver get no sound. Can you help me?

For this model (with 2.1) you DO NOT "need a home theater receiver". Any 2 channel stereo output will do. s m h.

Thank you for watching. I believe people are more commonly using a receiver for its use.

@@MiguelGaribay909 then don't say "need". They don't "need" a 5, 7 or 9 channel receiver, AND your test method might be messed up (incomplete). To test 2 channel speakers, the better method (i.e. more reliable and complete method) is to change the settings in the 5, 7 or 9 receiver (down to 2 channels) and THEN use Left n Right front (or whichever pair specified bin owners manual, but 99.4% that pair).

@@henrybutchy3242 your advise is completely wrong. You don’t need to change any settings! As seen on the video, if you would have watched it, I am testing with the Front Left and Right which pushes out the 2.0 audio output. We will agree to disagree but like instructed in the video this is for testing purposes for resellers.

Perché fai un test con il movimento vibrante di un pezzo di carta? A cosa serve? Il Bose usa un Band-Pass con una qualità del basso superiore a quella dell'altro sub in Reflex semplice e non deve necessariamente spostare tanta aria per avere un ottimo basso.

i have a full acoustimass 6 series II laying around my house in mint condition. cant figure out how to set it up with my reciever to use modern input sources (ie my phone)

Where did you connect the subwoofer, is it in speakers A, speakers B or surround speakers?

You get the left and right channels from the receiver or amp.

would this work with a pioneer sx 229 or kenwood kr a 3080? i wanted to use the kenwood as a dedicated sub amp if i could

Thanks for the question! Both of those units would work but using the L/R channels only because it is a passive subwoofer. This receives all audio input through the L/R channels only. No separate sub inputs on this sub. You would only be able to control the sub levels through the receiver settings. Hope this helps.

@@MiguelGaribay909 i really wanna try how it would sound with 4 channel tbh thats why i wanted to use the Kenwood and connect em both via an dac to my pc but if thats not really possible ill prob put it into the 2 channels still free in my pioneer

Honestly the Def Tech are better overall. I would recommend them but you can find Bose used for cheaper prices.
