How to Contour and Highlight a DIAMOND FACE

The basic concept of contouring and highlighting is adding dimension to the face with shadow and light. Dark tones will pull shadows inwards and light tones will push forward.

Actually a diamond face has the widest cheeckbones and temples , the forheard must be aproximately equal to the jawline . her face is not a diamond

+SC Artistry well , her face may be diamond , but it is not defined at the temples. I have a diamond face and tends to be round but the temples are the widest traits and i have very defined checkbones ... Which don't require much countouring ... Her face tends to be either heart shape or oval ,but more heart because of the pointed chin.

Scarllet the middle of the face is widest in a diamond face shape with forehead and chin about the same width but narrow. the middle of your face is where your cheek bones are.

SC Artistry this is bad contouring and highlighting for a diamond face, since cheek bones are so prominent already this will look really weird.

I have a diamond face which means wide and high cheekbones. If I try to contour under my cheekbone like in the tutorial, it would be a makeup disaster......

Hey Tina if you wanted to change your face shape - and not enhance it - follow the instructions of our other tutorials for the shape you'd like to be.

I hate contouring the hollows of my cheeks since I have a diamond face. I always contour or bronze directly on the cheekbone to make them look less wide. If I contour in the hollow of my face my cheeks look huge

watching this again I realize that you're trying to sculpt out a diamond rather than contour one. I'm also pretty sure you've deleted some comments because I remember commenting and you replying. doesn't really matter but you should try to rename this or at least correct it in the description.

Her face shape is oblong...diamond. Her forehead is long and wide which doesn’t match up. Diamond face shape people tend to have small foreheads.

She has my face shape! Her face shape can be mistaken for oval and it’s always a argument with make up artist when I’m trying to get my make up done. Then I’m forced to say im professional. Thank you🤩

She’s definitely not a diamond shape. Diamonds are widest at the cheekbones. Her widest point is her forehead so more heart or triangle shaped. Nothing against the model, just wish the artist was more educated

Wasn't helpful you don't even explain why u highlight certain areas. I have a diamond face shape and my chin is really pointy. If I was to highlight my chin it would draw attention to it. You need to explain better

I Think I have a diamond face shape? I have a big forehead, a long-ish face that comes to a point (I have a pointy-ish chin) so I don't know lol Along with that, I was "blessed" w my Italian grandmothers big nose & I have small lips & semi deep set eyes. So, I've no clue how to fix all of that lmao Side note, that model is gorgeous!!
