The basic concept of contouring and highlighting is adding dimension to the face with shadow and light. Dark tones will pull shadows inwards and light tones will push forward. If you have a Square or Rectangle face shape, this makeup tutorial will show you how to enhance your face shape.

+Kry Kry there's heaps of those around already... if you search How to contour a square head it will be hoe to reduce its edges into a rounded elongated shape

Oh no! I love a good square but thats fair too - once you know which face shape you wanted to create, you can watch that tutorial, follow the steps and change your face shape. Contouring is the art of illusion, its just a little trickier trying to create a shape thats not there. If you wanted to make your jaw less square - try using your contour from the tip of your eye down towards the corner of the mouth - this will give you a more oval/diamond/heart shape jaw line.
