Good tape trick. I made a funnel out of aluminum tape, sticky side in, so just in case the piece came loose it had no place to go. I used the same cone for all the burners.
somebody may have already said this, but just in case, you can get locking nut drivers or even use a deep socket to avoid the trouble you had. A mini needle nose plyer will also pick up the orifice if you drop[ it.

Great video! My new Whirlpool instructions failed to mention opening the air shutter fully on the oven burner, I learned the hard way after finding massive amounts of soot inside the oven, burner , and bottom plate, not to mention the noxious smell. I still have to check the broiler for the same problem.Thanks for the helpful content!

I am getting a new stove, i am surprised that it's hard to find somebody to doit. It's not too easy to convert to propane. No wonder why lowes charge a lot to do it. Thank you for you excelent video.
Thanks for the video.. I just successfully changed 4 out of the 5 burners orifices, and the 5th one dropped into the stove... Can I just leave it there? Or do I have to take the whole thing apart?
I need my oven adjusted! My range top is done. I'm getting really heavy odor of propane. Pin for oven adjustment is missing. The odor is burning my eyes have to shut it off and I can't use it the way it is.

Man, I was with it up until the seven minute mark, then I said to hell with it, I'll pay the propane company 🤣 They came out several months ago for another issue, and when testing the stove after that service, the tech mentioned to me that my stove was still using the natural gas orifices. I wonder if the guys who renovated this house before we bought it did the other steps. Hahahahhaaha what am I saying of course they didn't they barely did anything at all 😂😂
I live in a rural area and all the appliances are propane. I could see why I would want to convert an appliance to be used as propane in my case. But if you already have a natural gas line , there’s no reason to switch to propane as it is more expensive.
Me good video I'm trying to do the same thing but where I'm having problems is with the fitting to connect the hose because I buy 1 Amazon 18 feet long what valve you used for the gas tank and the other fitting to the stove if any one can help me out por fabor gracias
Cool deal. I haven't done a dryer video yet because, quite frankly, we NEVER sell gas or propane dryers but... I may as well try it once. Should be wildly similar.
Here in Europe, butan/porpane are allowed indoors, providing the kitchen has at leas a floor level ventilator. As lon the kitchen is not airtigh, you are good to go. Accidents are minimal and mostly related to poorly maintained sets and people blocking the air ventilations in the winter. Quick release connections are the norm, so another option is to unplug the bottle from the set up.
is the LPG injector usable for propane? We bought a new stove top (arebos) which said to have propane injectors included. but instead LPG was included. the manual says, 52 67 74 (1/100m) for propane, but the lpg is 45 59 67 (smaller). will they also work?
I was given this exact stove a while back. It was converted from NG to LP, and I have NG in my house. The previous owner has no idea what may have happened with the NG orifices and every search I have made ends up with new LP orifices. I even called a local appliance shop and they wanted to replace all the gas valves and would not sell me just the orifices. Where can I get a set of the correct orifices?
i was just wondering. the propane was out of control when using NG orifices. How does it get when using Propane orifices on NG? would you try adjusting the knobs to get more gas.
Nice. I see you had a 20 lb tank hooked up. We need to do this as we are putting together an outdoor kitchen. I see you have the red high flow regulator. Other than the plumbing, is this all you need? Will a regulator from a sizeable gas grill sufficient?
Nope. Just plumbing. I needed a 3/8 to regulator fitting, and that's all she wrote outside of gas-grade teflon tape. We use this for our "Test mode" at shop. The LP regulator can drop the flow down to simulate natural gas so we don't have to convert as well.
Don’t do that 2.5 turn to your regulator.. they send another office 1/2 inch brass fitting to replace that. If you do what this guy does to the broiler you will either strip threads or burn your house down.
Orifice tube * for propane!!!!! you replace that 1/2 inch brass fitting with the smaller hole fitting provided. To take it apart you must open the oven door take out the two back screws of the oven floor and remove the broiler or oven burner with 3 screws. Remove the brass fitting you see with the 1/2 inch wrench then replace it with the smaller one. Reinstall your bottom burner and oven bottom. Please don’t trust in this videos entirety.
Just to let you know you shouldn’t put a high pressure regulator on stove you’re pushing to much pressure on it you’ll need a twin stage regulator it’s 11in water not psi
I had that Kenmore stove and got rid of it, the flames were never proper and would burn everything in the middle of a pan but not cook in the outer areas, it just was never right
Whoever owns that Stove needs to clean the Damn thing. I wouldn't cook nothing on that nasty ass thing. You should have cleaned it before you made this Tutorial
