I love the way you consider describing things to people who are new to cooking. I am not young but I am new to cooking. I was the youngest of 10 “the baby” and never even saw the kitchen until it was time to eat. Now, later on in my life Mom and Dad are gone, brothers and sisters are few and I’m on my own. People always give me instructions like I should know what they’re talking about and I don’t! Thank you for being patient and remembering us beginners no matter what age. Hallelujah.

I remember picking greens with her ty so much

Im out camping with my husband, son and grandson in our motor home. I brought 3 sweet potatoes I had baked at home with us, planning to make your sweet potato pie. When this video popped up, I decided to make this recipe! I had to send my husband to the store to get sour cream and nutmeg. My sweet potatoes had the yellow flesh and they’re very dense so I omitted the flour. I didn’t have access to the butter flavoring so I used a couple extra tbsp of butter. Oh my!!! What a delicious pie! The four of us had it two nights in a row with homemade ice cream and devoured it completely! Thank you for your your recipes, I’ve made several of them, including your squash casserole which I froze half of it and brought with us camping! That’s been devoured, too! Delicious 😋❣️

Mae Mae, I'm making this pie for Thanksgiving. Didn't have the butter flavor, I went out and bought some tonadd before I put the mixture in the crusts. Have never used sour cream either! Will send you a picture when they're done!! Can't wait to taste it!
