Mix in a bowl 4 cups grated cassava, 2 cups coconut milk, 1 1/2 cup sugar, 1 can condensed milk, 1 can evaporated milk, 3 eggs beaten, 2 tablespoons melted butter. Transfer mixture into greased baking dish and bake for 45 to 1 hour in a 355degrees Fahrenheit or 180 celsius oven. Once cooked pour topping mixture (Mix 3/4 kakang Gata, 2 egg yolks, 3/4 can condensed milk) and topped with grated cheese. Bake for 15- 20 minutes .

@@wrestlingexcellence2590 i just used the regular baking pan na nabibili sa Dollar Tree if you are here in the US. I think any baking pan will do kasi you have to check it with a toothpick if it's already cook. Sometime I used pyrex and lines it with banana leaves. Adjust lang sa baking time. I just add some 2-3 min more for broiling to brown the topping.
"Thank you ho" for the recipe, i just made it earlier, my husband is not a Pilipino but he love it, i cut 1/2 cup of sugar as i am doing most of the time with cakes and cookies and did'nt put toppings because i made a big pan to freeze some of them!

Needs coconut strings , and vanilla extract- I’m told by my Filipino friends I make the best cassava cake - and I’m not Filipino. Yours is way, way too sweet , and you don’t need the butter. This is heart attack on a plate .
I think we gave different way of cooking, I hope you really had the best "cassava cake" as you bragged about it. Hehehe. Why not make your own channel and do your best cassava cake 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤪
The cassava cake looks good and probably tastes delicious but I wouldn’t know it unless I make it myself. Please let me know the oven temperature since it wasn’t mentioned on your video so I can try making your cassava recipe. I’ll be waiting for your response. Thank you
to those who are complaining that Mang Peps didn't write the ingredients here..... Cassava cake 4 cups grated cassava cake or 2 packs of 16 ounces cassava packs 2 cups coconut milk 1 can condensed milk 1 can evaporated milk 3 eggs beaten 2 tbsp. melted butter mixed well all ingredients transfer to baking pan brushed with butter bake for 45 mins to 1 hour at 375 degrees Fahrenheit or 190 degree Celsius Topping mix apply after 45 minutes of baking 2 egg yolks beaten mixed with ¾ coconut milk apply on cassava cake-grated cheese on top bake for another 15 to 20 minutes till it is brown
Thanks for sharing! by the way, why did you need to remove some juices from the grated cassava (some nutrients are in there!) and then later on added other liquid / wet ingredients?
