What is the difference between a proposal and contract? Is one simply a form of marketing while the other is a signed document or is there more to it?
Thanks for watching! A proposal is the foundation for a contract. It is the offer and price you are proposing to the customer. The contract is the signed agreement where the customer accepts the proposal. Hope that makes sense. A lot of people use the terms interchangeably.

You may want to share an estimate, but let them know that you will need to walk the building again when it is complete. Things change in construction and you don't want to price too low.
I have a question...regarding cleaning materials like garbage bags .do you include the cost of it to your price or do you charge the customer in a separate invoice for the price of garbage bags ?
Great question! We apply the cost of materials and wear on equipment to our hourly rate, so it is built into the price. If we are ordering paper product for a customer, then we will charge them separately for those things.

CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management. It is a platform that allows you to record and manage customer contacts, send marketing materials, and proposals/quotes to customers. They are all different so quotes will look different depending on what you use. We plan to film a live video where Matt builds a quote from scratch.
