I am a beginner, and I needed to make a report for UX Researcher expertise test. This video was insightful and gave me a super good feeling of how to proceed! Thanks!
One of the things most surprising to me when it comes to UX is how much you have to design your communication with others in addition to the actual product you are designing
This is similar to what I do for my research readouts but I also learned some pieces that I didn't include! Was awesome to mesh my knowledge with yours. Thanks Fem!
That was so so to the point!! Excellent template! I just happened to work on a report like that with my classmates last week. And it kind of had it all, but now I clearly see how it could have been done better. I totally feel like redoing it all 🙈 I also wanted to ask you, what would you say the balance between UX Research and UI in a role of a product designer is? You mention that you work with researchers, does it mean that if I like doing research I should target research job positions only or can I still do research being a product designer?
Thank you so much for the template! It really helps us a lot! Can I also ask a question? In the next step part, what do we put on the Table? Is it our next proposal for the boss? Or the next thing that we would do? And also the schedule is going to match the table above?
Interesting....on average how often is Research done at your workplace and how often is this kind of Report shared? Who takes care of Next Steps, I mean how does it flow into the Product Development Lifecycle?
Thanks for the video, Femke! Maybe a silly question but could a research report be considered a “research condensed” case study? I’m trying to think how I’d add a report to one of my case studies without being repetitive but maybe I’m confused
Hi Femke! Thank you so much for sharing this resource, it's super helpful. Do you use also use a similar layout when presenting your usability test findings to stakeholders/team members?
Thanks Femke, I am not really sure I get the difference between key insights and key findings. Is there a clear way of distinguishing and insight from a finding?
Thank you for a great video! I subscribed to your newsletter, but when I attempt to copy the google doc, I receive this error "Sorry, unable to open the file at this time. Please check the address and try again." Do you know another way I can download it? Thanks again!
Hi Fem, thanks so much for the awesome content, I’ve signed up to the mailing list to receive the presentation template but its not come through yet - shall I submit the form again? Many thanks! K
Hi Lawrence! I'm not sure of any books specifically on this topic, but here's my collection of recommended design books: oku.club/user/femke/collection/design-leadership-books-zAl84
