I am loving every bit of this video. I have been wanting to do this for awhile but I have been busy with other stuff. I bought this Cricut maker years ago and I need to get started with it but In 2024 I'm finally doing things that I enjoy. I can't wait to get started on this for my family and others with kids. Just happened across your video because I was thinking about offering colouring books but was unsure about printing them myself. Glad to see that it’s totally possible! My question is about barcodes (although I’m in Canada so it is likely different) do you create your own code for your own inventory purposes or are you getting isbn codes?
When printing the cover page on glossy photo paper, make sure to adjust your printer settings according to the paper type. For the inside pages, you could use thinner cardstock paper, it won’t be as see-through as regular copy paper.
If one uses the free canva and make a coloring book, will it have canva's watermark on each illustration? I hope not. How much do you add for the spine and bleed please? ❤

Regarding the white border on the cover page, that was actually due to not selecting the 'borderless printing' option on the printer settings. It's an easy fix! To get rid of that border, simply ensure you select the 'borderless printing' option in your printer settings before printing the cover. This should help you achieve a seamless look without any borders. Hope this tip helps, and happy crafting!

Actual colors may vary depending on your computer's display capabilities as well as the print quality of your printer. The color shown on the screen may differ from the printed result. Colors may also be different when printed using various printers and papers.
No special app was need to print. as mentioned in the video i use canva to create the design, saved as pdf to my computer and printed using my ink jet printer.
hi! I love this in depth tutorial that has helped so much. I am having a problem that when i print double sided the black ink bleeds through that i can see what the next activity is. is it the copy paper doing this? thanks!

Great question if you’re using any copyrighted images for personal use, it’s fine however you can not legally sell any designs that feature copyright images without a license or written permission from the owner.

Hello. Any idea why my pages aren’t downloading in a group? To be clear, it doesn’t give me to option to print all at the same time, when I go to print the pages it only shows one page not all three. I hope that makes sense.
Great question what I mean is if you plan on selling products you need to have the right to use any of the images, fonts, clipart, etc for commercial use. If you don't have the right to use these things for commercial purposes, then you can't sell products using them. There are a lot of great resources out there for finding free or low-cost images, fonts, and other design elements that you can use for your business. Just make sure that you check the licensing

That will depend on how many pages you decide to put in your coloring books. If you’re making a mini coloring book like I did in this video tutorial When you print on both sides of the paper Keep in mind that one page will actually be 4 coloring pages -2 pages on front -2 pages on the back For a 12 page book you will print 3 pages (inside pages) + the cover page. I hope I explained this well enough( I’m not always the best at explaining things) Please don’t hesitate to ask questions I’m happy to help if I can.
I’m not really sure what would be preventing you from downloading the PDF file on Canva itself. However you need to make you already have a PDF reader like Adobe installed on your computer to open the PDF.
After the download has finished, go to your ‘Downloads’ folder and double-click on the ‘Canva Setup.exe’ The Canva setup will begin the installation and start the desktop application automatically after the process is complete.
