Great video! One tip I would like to give is to increase the audio a bit, since it was super quiet coming from other videos.

I have a dual extruder setup with my machine setup for PETG on 0 and PLA on 1 . How do I save each extruder setup that I can use PLA in extruder 0 if I want to?

I'm having an issue here I use a Chromebook because it's all I got and I have to open curer using a terminal and it crashed so I had the power wash my laptop and come back and redo everything and now I can't figure out how to set up separate profiles. I have to redo everything in my settings but I can't find the custom profiles in marketplace. I got it figured out.. my laptops just been being slow. I cant wait to get my new one that runs windows

Are profiles printer specific? IE: If profile created in Cura on Prusa, can it be exported to Cura for use with Ender? Or is that profile only compatible with Prusa now?

Profiles are typically specific. I have separate profiles with the same settings for my CR-10 and ender 3. Since the bed sizes are different. Hope that answers your question.

Do you know why creating a new profile would be greyed out. I had to switch to expert to find it, but creating a new profile from the current one as well as several other selections are greyed out. Never mind, I figured it out. I was trying to create a new profile based on the default, but you actually have to change a setting first before create profile from current one is not greyed out anymore.

That’s the tricky thing Dennis sometimes depending on the printer it would work fine. I’ve used these settings and it works fine. When I change settings in one profile it changes the settings for all of them

That’s odd. You have to make sure you save your profile. Once you change to another it typically asks if you want to keep the current settings you just say no and it will change to the other profile.

@@ItsMeaDMaDe when I say no it resets them all I'm using cura 4.9 I'm going to go back to 4.8 to see if that's my problem
