Drummers are always looking for ways to clean up their stage floor. Gibraltar's Legless Snare Stand, Legless Hi Hat Stand, and Legless Cymbal Stand are three options to open up floor space and give drummers more room.

Yes, the no leg hi hat stands work extremely well with double pedals. The legs on a hi hat stand are what cause the problem when trying to add a double pedal to your setup. If you remove the legs from the stand, positioning the pedals becomes easy.

In the 80s, I come up with following: By modifying 4 tom to tube clamps, I made 2 double thumb wheel tube to tube clamps, I simply put 2 tube clamps together with a longer bolt. So I had 2 clamps which could rotate to any angle using a thumb wheel adjustment. My rack simply folded up into one piece for transportation. The rack was a standard, comprising of one cross piece and 2 uprights. I could mount 2 tom holders, and 3 cymbal holders on the cross piece, easily folding up. Sorted. I showed the guys from Gibraltar at a drum exhibition in the UK. They were amazed, it never occurred to them to convert the clamps..

Hey Brent, Thanks for all the videos!! I love when you go out and build kits! I'm a percussionist, and I currently use your top-of-the-line conga basket stands, they're awesome, as I'm a heavy hitter and they won't budge. I would love to see, however, a whole percussion set up that embraces this philosophy of "no legs". I Know it's a challenge, but I'd love to see it done. Three congas, timbales, cymbals, wind chimes accessory table, electronics... The works!

Gibraltar Rack Systems are just awesome!!!! I saw the Spider Rack & had to have it!!! A rack just opens up endless possibilities for ideas and set ups plus cleaned up my studio. Before I was using 7 cymbal, 1 snare & 1 tom stands!!! Tripod city the floor looked like an octopus!!! Now only 5 points of contact!!! Love it cant say enough good things about it!!!!

Since Hannah’s rack was designed with 2 rack toms in mind, you will need to place a double tom mount in the leg the 10” rack tom is currently mounted in, in order to mount an 8” as well. By doing this, you can mount the 8” and 10” on one mount, directly out of the front leg.

interstatemusicDOTcom is how i do it. i plan and map out my setup, copy down part numbers, and do a part number search on the website. then i just add to cart and order it. i find myself typically more knowledgable than the sales people too....

Hi BRENT, you didnt go as far as i expect, take SC-AE200 as cymbal No leg base and put the SC-AE100 to 9606NL, take a SC-AE300 to 9707NL-UA, put on top of the SC-AE200 a quad 6713QP........you have 3 foot print on the ground........

michael hembree if you plan to use a stand, the 9813DP stand has a heavy duty base that will support the weight of a floor Tom. You can flip the drum upside down and use the floor tom leg bracket to mount on the L rod. The resonant head will become your batter side.

If I deploy a legless hi-hat stand and a legless snare drum stand on my rack, can I also fit in there a double-bass drum pedal? Is there enough room? Is that what the stealth bent bar is for? that its bent to allow the driveshaft between the two pedals to fit?

Keith Franceschiello yes you will actually have more room to add a double pedal than using legless stands than using stands with tripods. Yes the bend in the stealth connector bar was designed for a double pedal

No offense but if i was in a wear house with every thing your company made i would be able to set up my kit real easy how do you do it when you have to depend on sales people that are not familiar with every part you sell proberly dont have all on hand how can i map out what i need and then get it in one shot i can figure out what i want but im not up with every little piece your company makes is there a way to get a full catalogue and order directly

attaching that snare to the one cymbal stand seems incredibly unstable imo. I'd rather leave it on a snare stand or attach it to a rack.

U choose to be a drummer than deal with the work I say. Here in Hawaii I play drums for a reggae group and it ain't that hard just to assemble and in assemble your set😒 c'mon don t be lazy and just deal with the work that comes to being a drummer.
