I really like your style of video tutorial, where you try different settings, and then pick the one, vs having it all scripted ahead of time and just using the values you tried before.
Only just saw and installed this software, yesterday ..... today I find this wonderful page with the type tutors I need to set me off. Thanks so much .... I like this Olive editor more and more after each tutorial you make. But I hope they add something like the Render Preview of Kdenlive. Previews of HD projects lag a lot on my computer.
Great video thank! I'm no longer using Production Premium and have tried all sorts, I'm now down to OpenShot and Olive. These great tutorials really help.
If the 'Text Effect' is missing... You are in Ubuntu.. Likely you have installed the Snap; use the PPA `sudo add-apt-repository ppa:olive-editor/olive-editor; sudo apt update; sudo apt install olive-editor`
Good question and yeah it works! 1. Make project with a sequence that contains the title and save it 2. !!! Ensure the Sequence has a unique name (not "Sequence 01") or else step 3 will crash Olive 3. Open/start new project and hit File/Import (ctrl + i) and pick the title ove file. 4. The sequence of the title project was added! Done!
I just found out: there is no stabilization feature in Olive yet. One solution is to do the stabilization in Shotcut ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PpYPsgnOxcY.html I'll make a tutorial once Olive has that feature though
