I'm so glad your on youtube I used this pattern since last yr & kept putting it off. I went to do it yesterday but thought I was doing something wrong. Thank you
Loved the tutorial. But the pronunciation of tapestry bothered me to the point I knew I had to look up the etymology and pronunciation. It’s definitely tap’estry not tape’estry. Coming from the word Tapisserie or tapis- to cover with heavy fabric. Thus the needle used on such heavy fabric to create patterns and pictures was called a “Tap’estry needle”. Sorry, I just had to look it up. Both UK & US proper pronunciation are the same. Wall hanging tapestry created with a tapestry needle. Tap not tape. ;)
@@SigoniMacaroni I’ve finished one throw for my dad, 6 beanies w/matching scarves, some jewelry and currently have on the hook on a bath/spa set (making a total of 5) and have 1 single sized blanket (with 3 left to do prior to Christmas). I’m also going to open an Etsy shop by Jan. 2022. I’m sooo excited & owe most of my education to you my friend! 💜💙💜💙 Edit - I wish I could show you pictures!
Absolutely! Within the premium PDF I've explained exactly how to do this and I've done the math for you. The link to purchase the premium pattern is in the description. But you can always try to do the math yourself too!
I have an issue/question with my tension, I guess it's my tension........ When I'm crocheting and at the end of a stitch, any stitch, I feel like I'm pulling my last loop up to high every time and then before I start the next stitch I have to pull my working yarn back a little bit so it's not saggy on my hook. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. I guess my question is should I be pulling the working yarn back? I don't pull it so my yarn is to tight, just enough that it's like when I start, flowing freely. BTW, I love the beginning of your videos, Sigoni, Sigoni, how's your macaroni... It's so cute to listen to, makes me smile every time 😊
Thank you! ❤️ that’s how I came up with my business name. My grandma used to sing that to me when I was a kid 😆 But I recorded my son singing it when he was 4! (He’s now 7) and I love it too ❤️ But yes it sounds like you’re more of a loose crocheter. You can try adjusting the way you hold your yarn like I show in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H6FuTHAxKAQ.html And see if that helps. It sounds like you know how to adjust your yarn so that you’re not crocheting too loose, which is great. But it sounds like based on the way you’re holding your yarn you’re naturally pulling it more loose. So watching that video will hopefully help.
@@SigoniMacaroni I love that about your grandma and son ❤️❤️❤️. Thanks for replying and I watched your video on tension. Very cool tips!!! Gonna try and make the thing on you finger in the video.
I am a male beginner crochet person that has done three of your style of hats. With my life expectancy shortened. I have come to learning one last thing that I can pass down to my oldest son. I would love to see more “easy beginner” models but do you do any type of animals or anything else? Thank you for helping me make memories with my kids love the content!!!
