This is the smallest thing I've every crocheted and I was surprised how easy this was to do. As it happens, I collect snail figurines and have them in all sizes, mediums and shapes and these are now among my favorites. Thanks for the pattern and the calming video instruction. Having lots of fun.

I made one! I don't have a yarn needle but I improvised by using my crochet hook to attach the shell to the body, and it worked! :)

I used a more worsted weight yarn and a 2.75 mm hook to make a slightly larger one (but still quite small) and put it on a keychain. It's adorable!

I adore this! Only problem is when I stitch through the shell, pulling the needle tends to cause the shell to collapse a bit on itself. Does anyone have any pointers?
