Yarn: medium weight #4 Measurement: 13.5 inches circumference (stretchable up to 14.5 inches) Hook: 5.00mm /US H For the hat: - Make magic loop - Round 1: chain 2, make 12 dc in the loop. Slip sts - Round 2: chain 2, 2 dc in every sts. Slip sts (24 sts) - Round 3: chain 2, *2 dc, 2 dc in next sts *, repeat * to * 8x. Slip sts (32 sts) - Round 4: chain 2, * 3 dc, 2 dc in next sts *, repeat *to* 8x. Slip sts (40 sts) - Round 5-7: chain 2, 40 dc. Slip sts - Round 8: chain 1, 40 hdc (crochet all sts in 3rd loop) Slip sts - Round 9: chain 1, 40 hdc (crochet all sts in 3rd loop) Slip sts - Round 10: chain 1, 40 hdc (crochet all sts in 3rd loop) Slip sts For the ears (make 2): - Make magic loop - Round 1: chain 2, make 12 dc in the loop.
