Neat! Thanks for the helpful tutorial, it is slower easy to follow and see close up ! Id love to make this for my preteen Granddaughter but is there a way to make a poncho with this pattern, because Shawls are difficult for kids to keep on. It is a very sweet pattern design!
I managed to get through row 15 but that's as far as the tutorial goes and then it jumps to showing you how to end the last 2 rows to finish. I need more instruction to finish the complete shawl. I can't figure out how to do the rows after row 15, guess I'm not smart enough for this pattern. :-[
Did you figure it out ? I have not watched this tutorial all the way yet but I made this shawl watching it done by a guy called fibre spider and I had the same problem on row 15 I kept getting it wrong but I think once you get to row fifteen you have to repeat it again from row 11 to 15 until you reach the size you want and then you have to follow instructions for the Finnish I would recommend him as it’s much clearer
Help !!! has anyone made a written pattern of the stitches for the rows past 13 row? I can't figure it out. i keep messing it up. I promised a friend that well she wants this shawl because of a superstition about loved ones that have passed. she lost her husband, son and Niece in the same year. And she thinks the dragonfly symbolizes they are nearby. I want to give this to her..
@@hookedsmithen1126 yes but after completing row 13 i started over with row 10 that is actually at 14:37 I think there is another dragonfly to add on this row... but my pea size brain is not getting it... I promised Maria this ... I'm frustrated and feeling like a moron.. I've made many filet crochet patterns that we repeated rows and added more stitches but in my mind I knew what to do with those patterns.. with this i just can't get it.. I am feeling defeated as all get out. I've crocheted since i was 16 and i am now a great grandma so I've known how for a few minutes... I'm normally smarter than this lol lol I make all kinds of wearables, cardigans, hats, scarves, many many shawls this is nuts
I have Even got on Etsy trying to find a pattern to purchase, those advertised there have sad sad reviews, and don't answer my questions asking if they have a Row By Row written pattern etc.
On RU-vid search for dragonfly shawl and there are several tutorials looks like for the exact same shawl. Maybe watch a couple of them also. Maybe that will help.
