How to Crochet Fingerless Gloves 

Thank you so much for making projects so easy for me to follow. I have just started making sets of hats, scarves, and fingerless gloves for the homeless community here in Delaware. I hope I can be a Blessing to others, thank so much.

Found some red heart heat wave (heat generating) yarn in a clearance bin at Joanne's. Perfect with this pattern for helping with my arthritis when crocheting. I'll let you know how it works out.

I have watched several tutorials on fingerless and by far yours beats them all. Especially the one you crocheted with the entire body in sc and then added the scalloped top by the fingers very classy. I am making my daughters and adult grandaughters each a pair. Thank you for a teaching video without music competing with your voice. That is something I find very hard because of a neurological disorder - it makes me feel dizzy and nauseous. Just the sound of quietness and then your voice telling me which stitches to make, is nice. Although there was a very faint little, “heads, shoulders, knees and toes” song, by funny guy in the background. It really made me giggle 😅 - I love the sounds of family life occasionally because I live alone, and it’s a nice reminder of the rest of the world going on. Tell him it was fun! ❤

Good evening, Crystal 😃 I made 2 pairs of these fingerless gloves and had much fun doing so! Thanks very much for the pattern and extremely helpful tutorial. You are the best! The only thing I did differently with my gloves is that I crocheted some height onto the thumb hole (about 3 rows plus SS’s to finish). Now, to look for a simple scarf to go with them! Ps- Nice singing in the background by MR BOD... his vibratos were on point! 🎶🎤Head and shoulders knees and toes 🎶👍😎

Great tip...on running finger down chain to prevent twisting ....it really helped.ive struggled on many projects eg snoods to get it straight. Thank you !

I love these gloves! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us. The scalloped edge is particularly unique and beautiful! I did make one adjustment though. Following your instructions, I found the thumb hole quite uncomfortable no matter how I changed the stitches. I kept fiddling with it and finally came up with a comfortable solution...I only chained 3 for the thumb, and skipped 6 stitches instead of just 3. This allows the hand to decrease slightly by 3 stitches which I felt it needed because the way you did it made it bulky and large for my hand. Not to mention how great it now fits my thumb.
