Now she's engaged and my life is just a big pile of rubbish (I honestly can't watch any of your weddingy videos, even though you're both so sweet together)Unfortunately, my family don't help, though I have a good friend who helps A LOT, but I just feel like a burden. I can't afford to buy pretty clothes right now, but watching your videos is kinda the next best thing, and gives me ideas for when I can save up enough to treat myself. Heartbreak is evil, but I can try and look forward to rebuilding myself, one garment at a time...

Hi, as someone who works at collectif (only part-time, but still), we have now turned nearly the entire Commercial Street store into a sale store, and we have the Old Spitalfields Market store 5 minutes away with all of the new season stock. Just so people know if you are ever in London!

I'm probably pretty far from your usual demographic (for reference, I am a pansexual teenage boy with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Depression, and slight ADD which have all been medically diagnosed.) but I just recently found your channel and I absolutely adore it. I don't even know where to begin, your style is killer! As someone who also loves vintage/retro stuff, it's crazy seeing you because you look like you stepped right out of an old time photo. You and Claud are possibly the most perfect relationship I have seen on this site, the way you two care for each other is so clear and you both just have this life in your eyes that I can't describe when your S/O is around. You've also got a very calm voice, I just turned on your video when I was having an anxiety attack and it just sort of helped me calm down. Collectif is so nice! Always have to at least stop by once every time I visit London... As a student, it's a bit pricey for me, but I can only agree that their sales are amazing! They used to have an outlet shop in Soho (RIP) where a got a dress that was reduced from £90 to £13.30. Still can't for the life of me see why, as it's lovely and still holds up great 3 years later.

I am a major tomboy, but if I could afford them, 40s dresses... I would acquire many. I don't care for polka dots, but on those sorts of dresses, yes... I know it's not exactly fitting in the comments of this video,, Jessica, but I stumbled upon your channel recently and I watched your videos on your disabilities and CFS. My best friend, actually, suffers from what they believe is CFS but they haven't really found "what we believe is an actual diagnosis", yet. She's on the candida diet now and suffering quite a bit, as she's also allergic to a lot of food so there's not a whole lot she can eat. She's recently had to come to terms with maybe having to use a wheelchair to get around because her legs hurt so much and she wants to be able to get out, even when they do. She used to be the girl who did sports and had great grades. Her whole identity shattered when I came into her life and her CFS got worse and I think, by now, her close-by friends are all turning their back on her because "she's never well enough to hang out". I really, really love my friend and it's been heartbreaking to see her get more depressed, anxious and suicidal due to this. She's not getting much support from her family and I think her high school isn't very accommodating, either. It's wonderful to see your outlook on things and get a look into how you see yourself and the challenges you face and I hope it will in some way have adequately "dressed me" to give her the best support I can. I love your style and I adore the way you use the haircomb thingies!! I absolutely want to try that as well, it looked so great in the one favorites video! Just to have a little positive note to end this comment on :) PS I've already subscribed and I'm looking forward to your next videos. The bra struggle is real. Small band sizes can be so hard to get hold of of with a larger cup !! although I find vintage and vintage style clothing fit far better thank regular clothing they seem to be cut with more of a shape and often seem to have more stretch than most high street stores , super size inclusive for everyone , you can be tall, short, curvy or not curvy and there's always something for you. Also I love how in detail you go into with your reviews. your videos absolutely make my day too watch

A good tip with Collectif is the subscription email codes can be used with sale codes. This leads to amazing bargains for clothes you want to own (ie not just something reduced because it’s a weird colour in an unusual size). 😀

If I went through my collectif collection.. we'd be here all day. I think the word collectif is subliminal for me to Collect, the whole collection. However, I've never been so happy in my clothes, received so many compliments or been so well dressed. Everything is amazing. I need help to quit. I have no more room for clothes. I'm not sure about quality. Some things are wonderful. Some of my dresses are falling apart. My princess coat went bobbly after 2 years and had to be thrown away although it was £50 in the sale and I wore it constantly for 2 winters.. so what can I complain about. My favourite.

A seamstress can fix the dropped bodice on the first dress fairly easily and inexpensively by raising the shoulder seam.

Jessica, Wonderbra do really great strapless bras. I have same problem as you, small back and large cup size and the wonderbras are great, you can dance and jiggle and they don't need constant pulling up 😊
