Will a blunt bob look good with puffy cheeks?

I have a side part and I got my hair cut into a Bob. However when I style it myself I have longer hair on one side, that has flipped over depending how it dries. I like to toss it to either side for volume and can’t do that because it’s uneven. I was just wondering because I like to throw it either side should I have gotten it cut from a middle part and evened it out? Just so I can tell them next time.
