I love these videos showing us how to do different things with our wigs! I have Freedom and Cristi, and need fringes ( bangs ) cut in them, as I realise that I need to have my forehead covered, ........I am still thinking of buying another wig style soon, in a light colour, to make a change from the Silverstone that I already have and to have 7 in my wig wardrobe!! The frosted taupe looks great, but I've been pondering whether to get another with roots, like my Sabrina in Nutmeg F with roots! My other half, old Lord D thinks it is too young for me!!!! ( He is cruising for a bruising, as we jokingly say in Scotland ) So perhaps I'd be wiser to stick to a blonde/brown with roots, and the lace front does apeal to me, though I do wear a wig band, as Scotland can be very windy and wild..( like myself! ) Ha-ha! I'll never improve, I'm afraid, but your wigs have opened a new chapter in my life, giving me zest, and taking an interest in my appearance again! 3 - 4 days to Scotland ... that's amazing. Like you I've waited a lot longer than that for domestic deliveries but I suppose many pieces we buy from UK companies are ordered in from the US anyway. Only 7 wigs in your wardrobe ... you're not trying hard enough margaret lol! I find the body adhesive gives me the greatest feeling of security in a howling gale. It did take a bit of practice to get the amount to use/where to apply it right but its all I ever use now.
You never disappoint! I have been using your tips about hanging my wig and smoothing hairs along side my face and not combing so much and my friend asked me if I was wearing a new wig that it looked so natural. I am about to purchase my first wig. I just need to decide which one. Every time I think I know, I see a new wig on you girls and then change my mind. lol. However, my hair color is white and you don't have all of the styles in white. I understand that you can't have every color in white, but I do wish you could make it in Freedom. I had a fringe ( bangs ) cut on my Chloe, and the fringe was sticking out in places! My friend was taking her hot air brush out to fix it! As you know, I'm from "wild" Scotland, and our hot air brushes are lethal due to their heat, so it was a massive NO from me! Later I thought that I'd try and wet it in the bangs area, while I had it on my head, so I was wise to the fact that I could not comb ot brush it, especially when wet, and allowed it to dry naturally which has helped a lot, and it is looking a lot better! The back seems to like sticking out a little, from my scrawny old wizened neck, so I'll try the same treatment there as well! Now, if I had not watched your videos, I'd have let my friend use the" too" hot hair brush, and brushed it when wet. with my wig brush, which would have ruined the entire wig! Chloe is a lovely wig, and feels so natural, due the Lace Front, Mono filament and Hand Tied style. My head is never itchy when wearing it, and I will send photos to you, when my gtand-daughter can visit again , ( LOck up rules operational again ) and she does all the clever work of putting the photos on my computer and sends them to you! Another trick to turn under a little is to wet the area, put a roller (not hot) around it and spritz our low alcohol hair spray on it, then leave to dry. Might help too. What you can also do when cutting in a bang is grab the amount of hair that you want to cut and twist it then cut the hair. Always cut below the eyebrows so you can adjust the length as you did in this video.

I’m very fortunate to have a niece who does my hair. Over the years my hair has gotten thinner and thinner. I hate my hair. Nothing to do with my niece’s skill......she’s very good at what she does. But, my hair doesn’t give her much to work with. It’s frustrating for both of us. This demo was very helpful to teach us how to cut bangs. Mine are just about like Rochelle’s bangs.....wispy. My niece felt very apprehensive about buying wigs online, though. It’s not like I can wait until it grows out to fix it if it’s not quite what I wanted. Please HELP!!!! Rochelle and Danielle, a question: Would this brush take the place of steamer for synthetic fibers? (It would be nice to have just one implement to work on bangs/curls etc.)
Hi Kathy, Rochelle here. Years ago, I used to use a steamer too for my clients and my own wigs. Since using our hot air roller brush, this is all I use now. For extremely damaged wig fibers, it make take the steam. But, if you're not abusing your wigs, I believe it will be perfect! I can only speak to our wigs, though. The hot air brush is not available on the website unless I order it in the shampoo kit which is also unavailable, I did add my email to be notified when back in stock. My bangs flipped out after trimming and look awkward, warm water doesn’t help. Do you offer the hot air brush on its own?
Yes, we sell them alone, we are sold out, and I"m glad you left your email to be notified. You could heat a hot roller, NOT TOO HOT, unplug the rollers and HOLD the roller as you round out your bang. Do not leave the roller in the hair!!!! You hold the roller and over and over just round the fiber while holding the roller. CAUTION!!! If its too hot to hold, it is way too hot for any of our hair! Or, just wait...Hope this helps! Ro

Yes, you can have a bang trimmed any length you like. I suggest trimming longer than you think and with each trim, edge your way up so as not to make a snappy cut and regret it! xo Ro
