Thanks for not talking to me in slow motion. I really value my time and i always have to speed up tutorials because it seems like they're made for people that aren't familiar with a computer interface. its much easier to pay close attention and just hit space or just pause it when i need a half second to catch up. good stuff sir

Thanks for an excellent video! I've replaced or moved simple objects/skies/backgrounds by robotically following other tutorials step-by-step, and even then I struggled. But your lesson in this video just clicked, even with several new-to-me tricks. I can't express how useful this video was for me! Everything I've done before now just makes perfect sense. Wow, I've always wondered how that effect was achieved. I'd always see it in different pictures and not know how to describe it, but it gives it a slight distance quality. That's a great stylistic effect you were able to achieve, I didn't know it requires that level of detail and how intricate it is. You did it so quickly, I'll have this video on repeat trying to understand it so I can apply it. Do you know the type of camera that the original picture was taken on, and the type of camera the second picture was taken on? Great tutorial.

I don't have the Select and Mask option after cutting around them? I can use the mask icon at the bottom but feels like im drifting away from the step by step tutorial. I can't seem to find the red overlay option either as we're in two different windows to one another.

As said before he does talk way too fast and the pointer whizzes aroubd the screen as if hes on a time limit or late for something. I found myself having to scroll back three or four times, maybe its the accent, but what you have to remember that not everyone is from the us.

Your "tutorials" aren't tutorials at all. It's you showing us how you do these things. The reason I say this is because you go so fast, a beginner can't keep up with what you're selecting, and your next move, and your move after that, etc. And if this isn't for beginners, then he/she doesn't need to watch it anyway. Just my 2 cents.

I think, that when you know something how to use Photoshop it is better to watch 8 minutes tutorial with fast explanations than spending 30 minutes or so to watch things, that you already know. Just my 1 cent ;)

To be honest its not best as u can get. With that bad looking, rough edges i have often problem, its good to try first option in redefine edge, which is edge detection! Use pencil -> make it selection from time time on mask to make it even better. I even have action as shortcut for that. You can record sequence of steps in Photoshop. That extra material also isnt looking very well. You just could fill with 80% gray on mask this selection. Less work, better effect. But still good work ;)

That is a very good tutorial, but everything you passing so fast and no pause, which not enough time to understand details, looks like someone chasing you and try to run away. just relax and give more time to understand.
