How to Cut Wood with a Cricut Maker 

Love this! Ive been looking for a video showing people doubling the wood letters to make them thicker since the Cricut can only cut about 1/16"th and I'd want at least 1/8th. So simple!

I just got a Maker yesterday, and am very glad I saw your tutorial, as I want to make a wooden sign as well. Thank you for your excellent instructions!

I thought maybe my font selection was too thin but I see the font you chose for the name Caitlin is way more thin and Intricate any suggestions you can provide thank you an advance

I've been trying to cut the same thickness of wood as you it's not working at all it won't cut straight thru the wood. What can I be doing wrong? I'm using the Maker knife blade Basswood 1.6mm

How hard was it to cut caitlyn, with it being so intricate? I’ve tried basswood and it either doesn’t cut all the way or snaps and mine wasn’t as intricate.
