You made it so easy for a person like me who literally has never danced in life. I recently have joined a Zumba class n I couldn't move at all. I felt like I am a wooden log tied up in many shackles.... After watching this video some of the shackles have definitely been broken. 😉
I was so embarrassed to dance in public, I started hanging at the back of the class & realized I was massively distracted by other dancers. Move to the front, you'll have fun. Watch instructors hand signals & if you don't get that- watch your instructors feet. You'll get the hang of it very quickly - see even if you make a mistake, make light of it, smile & laugh. You'll enjoy it even more. You don't need to memorize the steps, but if you keep your ears open you'll follow things fairly easily - have fun. I'm over 50 and when I watched a local Zumba class I realized I used to do these dances (in my twenties) but was drunk. If I could do it then I can surely do it now with a bit more life experiences. The words that I live by are; "Every day is a zumba day"! Smile, laugh & enjoy!
I'm happy to find and meet you Wendy here. I'm 76 also with love of aerobics I also did in Silver Sneakers from age 63 to age 74 in Florida. Now I can't do that where I live now so I'm trying Zumba instead.
@@sherylmiglio9624 Hi Sheryl, I think once you’re done aerobics you certainly can do Zumba, as it’s very similar. We just need a suitable class for our age group, water aerobics are very good as well. I’d love to meet you at a class, but I’m in Melb Australia 🇦🇺🐨 cheers, Wendy 😉
How lucky I am ! I am beginner , know nothing about Zumba. When I watch this, I find it easy to learn. It thanks to the teacher ‘s inspiration . Thanks so much
Just starting Zumba at home. I used to be a nice dancer but at age 77 I seem to have lost a bit of coordination. I'm going to get it back using Zumba with your help
Excellent video, I just became a Zin and this is so good for my learning,. I really enjoy your rate of speech and your explanation. Thank you for a very nicely done video once again.
Thank you so much. I have been struggling with Zumba. A client told me Zumba is definitely not for me but I would love to teach each just to see those smiles and happy faces. I need a lot of practice. But thank you for you!!!
Zumba is somehow a language itself: the Latin rhythms, the moves, the vibes, the steps and variations...and like every language it does require practice: it might take you longer than what it takes to other people, but this doesn't mean that you won't get there. Keep going, Lee!
Hi lovely! First I want to thank you for this video!! I have been going to Zumba classes and just never catches up with the instructor until I found your video, finally figured out what each set of steps are for . Than k you so much. You are the best Zumba instructor!!
Excellent instructions I am already pretty good at Zumba moves as I use to go to a zumba gym but with this pandemic and being stuck at home 😔 I stopped being motivated to workout so my hubby said he would do zumba with me 😄 However he struggles with the moves he is not as much a dancer as I am. So I found this video and it's the best so far I've found and it is really helping him to enjoy the workout more with me instead of being frustrated cuz he can't keep up. He is now enjoying workouts with me in the morning, thanks a lot for this.
So sweet of your husband to support you to get motivated and do Zumba together 💕! During the lockdown in Sydney I too convinced my hubby to do some Zumba with me! Here's the choreography that he accepted to do: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0BzSs7MYz-Y.html Let me know how you guys do! 😄😄
@@MinieMinarelli Thanks chica for the reply so sweet of you and I'll definitely check out the link. ☺ Hubby is starting to laugh and have fun with it now...it's not about perfection it's about perspiration and making working out fun not tread mill boring. 😉 He's getting it...Sounds like you got a good hubby too who supports you as well, we are truly lucky ladies then count our blessings 🙌
I’m just new to Zumba, after 3rd class I found that I am a bit lost during the class. Thanks to this video which allow me to know the steps much more better and I can watch it repeatly! Very well explained the step and movement and how to wave with music and most importantly how to balance and not to harm your knee! Thanks a lot for such a good video!
Thanks for the video. I interested in Zumba but don't know how to dance at all. I started my first class with trainer few day ago. Your video is helpful.
Thank you so much I'm a chronic over thinker and this slowed things down enough for my mind to catch up. The time stamp are chefs kiss I went back to each until I felt comfortable before moving on.
Thank you, Minie! I am going to share this as soon as possible. 😀 It's really like a new language... I used to "speak" it, but it's been years and quite a lot of the vocabulary got lost under layers of time... thank you for helping me to unearth it. 🙏🏻 Whoo! Whoo! 💃🎵🎶
Thank you Minie.....This is probably the best zumba basic steps I have found. Your instructions and nice easy pace was great. Can't wait to start learning Zumba. Thanks mate....LOL
