wow! this is all I needed in my business analyst role and job interviews. Your vidoes are better than masters class in software development. Thanks Kara
Videos are great Karaleise.. I got good energy from your videos and for sure great information.. Thanks for the time and effort you take for these amazing videos..
Oh my God, just cannot stop laughing with the info overload stakeholders.... oh i see this all the time and they throw you out of point completely 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩. You nailed them all..... well-done, good job...Dealing with clueless, difficult SH is one of the most difficult aspect of being a BA
I dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot my account password. I love any assistance you can give me.
Thanks so much for watching the video Esther! Yes there is availability where they honestly are fully booked or there is also those that keep shifting the meeting you set with them. In either case you have to try to plan as far ahead as you can and confirm to make sure they know its important to meet with them . God Bless!
Hi Good, thanks for watching the video and supporting my channel! We don't typically quantify BA effort the way we do dev effort and its very uncommon to include BA effort in point estimations for user stories. Are you being asked to calculate BA effort?
Thanks again for checking out the video Ash! So there are many courses out there for business analysis, it depends on the stage you are at and what you are looking to learn. Here are the top courses that cover general business analysis for beginners: karaleise.com/business-analyst-beginner-courses/
Where was you 3 weeks ago!..... I had just one like that insulting despondent and after so many curves not responding to meetings, requests, deadlines. Finally we lost the contract and she is reassigned to another position. The issues are lost opportunities, time and respect for an institution that allow the process to fester
Hi Yolanda! Thank you for watching the video! So that was a really bad experience with a difficult stakeholder. There is always something to learn even from the bad experiences though. Thanks for sharing!
hello, Karaleise, thank you very much for your sharing. I wonder in case you are a new Business Analyst coming in a company and forming new project (with no reference documentation) and there is a Senior Tester who worked in the company much longer than you, and is supposed to join the new project, what would you do if the person seems not want to share you any information? For me, I have such kind of stress or obsession when stakeholders are difficult to me and it is like a phobia that I feel so hard to overcome, is there any advice? Thank you in advance and have a great weekend.
It will be rare to have a job where you do not have to deal with difficult people - likewise in your BA role you certainly will have difficult stakeholders on some of your projects. The only question is how difficult will they be and where can you find a work-around?
