cant help but i think this message is kinda dangerous - because it basically invites people to emotionally abuse and use you while you say yourself: "UNDERSTAND THEM". i did this as good as i could for years and it left my mind pretty bruised...

I've been in therapy for 6 months and this video gave me better advice than I got in all that wasted time with a certified counselor.

Is anyone else weary of this sin filled, evil and sorrowful world and wishing that Jesus would return NOW for His children! 🙏

I don't believe in always appealing to a person's better nature because they might not have one. I carry myself with basic positivity but if someone is a dangerous amoral adversary, I'm not above giving them a taste of their own medicine in spades. "We sleep soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm." It's not nice but that's the way a lot of the world is. You have to be tough as well as kind and sometimes that means you have to end up dealing with some nasty stuff. That's life.

agree with some aspects of this.. but there are also some deliberately obnoxious spiteful people who go out of their way to be frustrating no matter how much we have helped them cos they r harbouring some resentment toward us.

I'm sorry, this really hasn't helped me at all. My social anxiety and introverted personality are not the problem.

This is advise that’s slightly off centre, never ever let someone abuse you,or allow them too much room for them to go on destroying you. The best way to help them is walk away and say this isn’t right. Plus you can often tell someone the truth but are they ready to here it. These are the profound questions that this guy is overlooking. It’s not for you to fix people it’s for people to realise all by them selves opps! I need to fix myself.

I used to let people walk over and become a doormat when I was younger. Now I don't let anyone to personally make me inferior without my consent. The best way to deal with frustrating person whether they are bosses,managers,co-workers,clients,customers or even family and sometimes close friends is to learn to be Assertive rather then being 1.Submissive and 2.Aggressive. I have sometimes in the past been both 1 and 2. These responses are neither effective!! and will not lead to a practical resolution!! Learn the skill of being "Assertive!"

Hey man. I'm literally what you described. I have an IQ of 140, and lately I've denounced my friends for doing things that I would never do. I've become more anti-social than ever because I get frustrated with people I used to be around. Your videos help me keep my ego in check.

I admire your trust in humanity, but in my experience I found that at work some people are just deeply dishonest and greed and they don't give a fig to run over other people and ruin other people's careers if this can help them to get ahead and make more money. And they have a perfectly smoot life at home. I am sorry to say that, but some people are just really ugly, and that is the reality in which we live.

The thinly veiled accusation that I am the frustrating person at the beginning IS VERY FRUSTRATING.... :)

I really appreciate the fact that Brendon's videos dont have ads at the beginning... that shows true class when it comes to online video IMO. Thank you for setting the example with that Brendon, advertising is the biggest threat to the material on youtube.

brilliant spin...dealing with frustrating people is about re-aligning YOUR OWN perspective and acknowledge, atone and deal with your own "frustrating" traits. Sometimes WE are the issue not other people.

Wow. Brendon really put me in perspective with this one.. I've been thinking so much of myself with what I'm doing and how I want to be "different" that I've been creating a bad and un-relatable gap between me and others. Time for some change!

I told her many times what I needed from her when I shared my day story at work, with people etc was to listen without rescuing, judgements, opinions; just listen. I even had to break down into small bits for her to understand my need but she continued to struggle to listen and reflect without rescuing. We went couple counselling and still didn't work. I left after 9 years!

I'm a person who frustrates people mostly because I over-explain. You just clarified why I always feel the need to explain my thought sequence. I always just want people to understand. The people that get frustrated with me about it are the people who just don't want to understand, they just want things to go the way they want them to go.

Brendon thank you for reminding me what humanity is.i started reading books on these topics and ur videos are definitely a big help for learning to be a better human being and to be the best you can ever be in each moment of your life. And I am learning from all your videos how genuine you are in your words and advise you are giving. Thank you for posting this here and giving everyone the opportunity to gain from your knowledge and to hear what you are saying because I think you are changing not only mine but many peoples lives

Brendon- Thank you for the reminder that we need to practice humanity. We usually expect the same level of performance from other people, without realizing that their situation might be different from ours. All we need to deal with is with ourselves. Our attitude and expectations. I love all your videos Keep up the great work.
