Feeling out-of-control is so frustrating. I'll be honest... a LOT of things have felt out-of-control this year. I'm moving, packing, and budgeting for a major home renovation, while dealing with some health issues. I've been relying on some of the coping skills I've researched, like "locus of control," but ALSO adding some new ones of my own that seem to be working for me.
Are you feeling stressed or frustrated at things that are out of your control? Check out what I'm doing and see if it'll work for you, too.
And comment below about what's keeping you up at night, so we'll all be in it together!!!

First of all, you came and spoke to my school district today and it was amazing! I was so inspired. I had to show my husband some of your videos. We decided to watch this one and we are going through the exact same thing right now! We just bought a house 2 weeks ago and we most likely have a mold problem. We are staying with my in-laws and we have been upset that our inspector didn’t catch it when we had asked if there might be a problem. We loved these principles you shared and it will definitely help me to deal with this problem that’s out of my control. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much for your sweet words, Lindsay! I LOVED being with y'all yesterday! What a bummer about your house - how disappointing to have JUST closed and be all excited and then find a problem. I'm sending you good juju for everything to get cleared up quickly so you can move into your new home worry-free!

Oh man, I'm so sorry to hear this. COVID-world is hard enough without throwing *cancer* into the mix. I'm sending you strength and hugs for the months ahead.
