I found solution to make EGR deviation system straight to the exhaust, egr air inlet pipe was removed and replaced with pipes that go directly to the exhaust. No codes so far.Egr cooler still in place working, just the exhaust gases from the EGR got to the exhaust pipe.
I went threw this on my 2008 mack MP8 (pre DPF) and it turns out the motor heavily relys on the EGR circuit to run as the NoX sensor gets the incorrect reading and confuses the fuel to air ratio if EGR is blocked or blanked off and runs like crap and to make it work, the ecm needs a complete new tune and will not perform properly regardless. Not sure if these cummins are like this, but do take care when messing with messing with these modern engines
I have a peterbilt 2010 387 with isx so i just disconnect differential senseor and do i disconect on a cold engine or what im having alot of problems with fuel milage with my truck and no power response like it should do also i notice oil like u said gets black quick.also when i disconnect egr temp sensor my truck response a little better but actually dont know what could be my problem had put new egr like almost 60000 miles ago.please help.
, if your filter still intact and you didn't make the hole in the DPF and didn't remove the c o don't disconnect sensor because you going to clog up all your filtering system
Thank you for replying back.i made 5 holes in dpf filter but i notice that after a while it still ask me for a regen i dont know if that normal i dint not do ecm delete just drilled holes.when i have egr temp sensor conected my truck seems to run alot hoter on water temp than when i disconect u think its becuase of my egr or dpf filter.
Michael Wright I was thinking the same thing because the egr was created for emissions reasons but a plus side to an egr is it keeps the engine running cooler and if they close the egr off by disconnecting the sensor none of the 2-3 plus gallons of antifreeze is going to circulate through the system 7 gallons is going to boil faster then 10 gallons.
So just unplugging the dpf sensor will shut down egr and injector off of turbo. Won't that set a code on your ecm? How long have you had the dpf sensor disconnected?
if you want also you can direct message me your Shops location so I can bring my truck there also if you don't feel like putting the information on the
Vlad Mak здравствуйте Владимир! Это блокировка фильтра, который def(мокрый) или сухой? Я хотел бы узнать детальней, можно ваш электронный адрес ? Спасибо
U think we can exchange phone numbers ? I would come there have u take a look at my truck Because after i had these guys delete my def the truck just lost power and keeps overheating
Its all by passed DEF EGR but no power and wen approaching hills with no power its goes very high on the heat 220 to 240 overheating If i leave fan on all time no overheating and a little bit more power. Nobody knows y and wats going on.
I was having issues with my dpf filter. Then I saw a video where a man put 30 - 40 holes thru it with long drill bit. I did it to my dpf and I'm still driving problem free.
@@elchicotony7637 I found this one here. Hope it helps. Like I said, I did mine with total 30-35 1/2 inch holes and have no codes and no ecm programming. Been over a year no issues. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YWEFld4lEMo.html
After doing all this you going to have check engine all time and after six months head gasket problem. You don't need all this if you know how to program your ECM and that's way to do delete on any diesel engines.
