Thank you for the video! Same issue with our 2019 Legacy. After checking fuses and other wiring, this one was somewhat hidden from view. I found it and there it was chewed in half. Finding it was easy. Fixing it on the other hand…ughh. Thanks again for the tip!
I had the issue on my 2004 H6 Outback. The issue was with the valve adjustment and the spark plugs. It appears that on every 50k kilometers, the valves need adjustment because they are not with hydraulic adjustment.
HI THERE I HOPE YOU CAN SEE MY COMMENT I 🙏 HAVE A 2002 H6 3.0 LL BEEN. CAN YOU TELL ME IF THIS 2002. THAT SENSOR IS LOCATED IN THE SAME PLACE AS YOUR'S??... THANK YOU...
Better check the air filter box for a “mouse house” also. I’m on a 2015 Outback, same symptoms, crank-no start condition. Found and evicted the mouse house, still no start, the house was completely blocking the intake snorkel. Off to the shop with a scan …uggg.
im doing an 08 2.5 outback now, no start , fuel and spark are good, tried starting fluid, nothing, pulled a plug wire to check spark..ouch works..pulled right tbelt cover, looks fine , not old and tight and rotates .. how ever it does spin like it was a tbelt .. no codes n live data shows numbers on everything.... soooo I guess next is to pull complete tcover to see if it jumped timing.. id be ok if it did , because NO idea what to look for next..
Same happened to me on 2018 Sub Outback.Pain n tha *** Rat chewed it clean off. And there is another sensor above the crankshaft sensor that has also been chewed apart. I can’t identify the sensor though?
