Superb tutorials Ben, no long drawn out bla bla, but at the same time nailing each point clearly and concisely. Great Helix knowledge ... now off I go to search your channel, to see what I could do with an HX Stomp XL, MIDI and a Catalyst... can I juggle some of the amp channels (Boutique / Crunch / Dynamic ) against some of HX Amps Litigator, Texas Cali...and 4 cable EQ's, boosts, 2nd delays (Catalyst onboard delay and HX delays stacked).... etc.. Great info Ben! I love how easy you made this with the Helix. Compared to the Kemper... urrrgh its just a different thing altogether haha and the changing channel while sending an eq change opens up so many possibilities!
With the NON-MIDI option, can you use snapshots? Like have the amp channel switch as you switch snapshots instead of having to stomp whatever you assigned as the channel switch in the helix?
@@BenHartwellGuitar Yep. Back to the drawing board. What about sending a second pc on a different channel (that the HX receives on), connecting a cable from the jvm thru to the HX in to toggle/switch on the flat eq?
