Great video! Can you talk a bit more about how much you charge... how to figure out how much someone should charge? Do your residents share rooms, private rooms? Are you an RNA or CNA or does anyone in your home have to have those credentials? Do you need to live in the home? Can you talk more about what are typical monthly expenses-- housekeeper? day care costs? grocery bill? etc?

I love your videos such a inspiration!I'm in the process opening my assistant living home.At times I feel like giving up and it gets very hard because I'm so lost🥺.I have spent hours and hours not sleeping until 4am and having to get up at 6:30am to get my son up for school. But I know this is my passion and my destiny!I was that little girl that instead of playing outside with my friends,I would be cooking with my grandparents and entertaining my elderly peers.Also volunteering at elderly group homes at the age of 13 years old.I love to take care of the elderly and disabled.To tell you the truth I love getting along and love being around them than a able body at times.I live in Milwaukee WI,is there anyway I can contact you or inbox you for a couple of questions.Please thanks so much!

Hello friends, I am hoping you can guide me. 1. I am working on the group home application. One of the question is whether the licensee will be an individual, a corporation or a partnership. Because I am doing this in honor of my son, I want to do it as a nonprofit. However, it is asking me for the social of all the board members. At the same time it says don't put volunteer board members. Are board members of group home typically pay? Is it not a direct conflict of their responsibilities? 2. The home I will be using to do he group home currently has a tenant. Would that impeded the fire marshal from being able to complete the inspection? 3. What is the comprehensive plan? What is your first line of contact? Visiting the state website or contacting them? City/county zoning? I contacted the state and they gave me limited information and do not call back. I have helped establish child care centers and understand some of the protocol. I have been a foster parent with the state and licensed insurance broker who is interested in group home as I have worked in this setting as a case manager. What is your email please?
