Wow! How did you read my mind? I was just thinking about it. Honestly, I have binged watch all of your videos, and every single second of your video is helpful. Thank you so much!
This video cleard all my doubts. Can't thank you enough, you saved me a lot of time and gave me the confidence dose I needed! Hopefully, I'll be studying to feed my intellectual curiosity rather than cramming heavy science textbooks next year!! 😊⭐️
Scintillating video, I must say! I was admitted to the Mahindra United World College in India (MUWCI) this year for the IB with an 81% scholarship! I'd be happy to answer any questions regarding the schools and the process :)
1K STRONG🎉🎉 Thank you all so much for 1000 subscribers❤️❤️❤️!!! More info on a giveaway coming soon:)) Edit: so many of you have been asking so here's a clarification. IB Diploma is a combined 11th and 12th program. You need to apply WHILE you are in 10th grade. Some apps open in October, some in March, all websites linked in the description! This is because you apply in 10th; the result takes time to come; then you finish your 10th boards and soon after that start 11th in IB. If you applied in 11th you would have to do 11th AND 12th again in the IB (essentially a year waste) so schools ask you to submit applications while you are in 10th!
Heyy great video!!! was really searching for someone who gave a honest review on switching boards. Can you please talk about your experience with switching boards in 11th and 12th grade? As I am planning on switching but am not sure. Lots of Love
Hey so switching boards is a learning curve. You have to learn new skills: writing, analysing, critical thinking; but I would 100% recommend it for the advantages I mentioned in the video! If you fall into one of the categories at the end of the video then don't switch. I'll be making a video about how to survive the switch soon!:)
Can you please! Make a video about GIIS Global Citizen scholarship and what comes on the exam and the interview and everything. It would be really really helpful for me. I appreciate yo videos and thank you so much for introducing GIIS to me, a lot of my credit for success goes to you, 🙏
You are so cute! Unfortunately I'm in my senior year at high school in CBSE board so can't take IB. Well, to show my academic rigor, I thought about taking AP exams but found around the beginning of this year that we have to register for APs around November of the year preceding the year of the test. And late registration fee was around INR 20K per test which is unfortunately unaffordable for my family. So I will have to apply without APs (will probably register this year though for giving it after my 12th board exams but that will just give me credits for my University and I will not be able to show that in admissions) this year. What are your thoughts on this Nitya? How can I show academic rigor other than performing well in CBSE?
That's a tough question, but it's so important to talk about, so thank you for asking! In this case, the SAT/ACT is super useful in showing academic potential. Apart from that, I would say, instead of rigour, focus on academic 'interest' in your application! That can be research or online courses or tutoring anything. Let the other parts of your application like ecs/awards and essays shine and in the additional information section, write about your academic interests and clarify that you couldn't take APs due to financial barriers. Just my two-cents, hope it helps!:)
@@NityaA Yeah, I will do that. SAT is really important in this situation. My SAT was going to be in May but it got canceled due to, we all know, COVID! 😫 Hope I get to attempt the August SAT. Will describe about the situation in the additional information section. Thanks for replying!
heyy thanks for the video. I was doing my research about IB and I found this. well I wanted to ask about the application process a lil more like do you get the option for a scholarship i mean what is it like do you have to attach some extra stuff? and also since you are studying CS how do take that up?
For the assessment day what exactly happens? (Other than the interview),plz replyyy ….btw really informative video,u gave me a better insight on ib education ..
Hey Nitya! I don’t have the best extra curriculars but I do have very strong interests in different fields, and my grades in 9th were 88% and in 8th were 92%, can I still get into a good IB school with scholarship? PS- does having information regarding a topic(like somewhat deep info) on a topic count as a extra curricular?
I think so yes! Plus you'll never know if you never apply and it doesn't cost anything to send in an application:) 10th term 1 grades count as well so those can help. P.S. I wouldn't say that counts as an extracurricular but deifnitely list it as an interest! You can also say that you're planning to do something w that interest (like write a book etc.) in the extracurriculars section.
@@NityaA thank you so much! I’m thinking of starting a blog, and will start on my book. Another question- when do the applications start , I mean around which month?
Hello didi , i want to switch to ib but i want to study all three subjects of science i.e.. chemistry, physics, biology along with maths ,but i came to know that among science i can choose only one subject🙁. Is it true cause cbse offers pcmb in one whole! If something like this exists in ib please help me in this🙏
Hi Nitya!! I was actually considering applying to Stone hill for a scholarship...can you share the procedure and tell us what stats and extracurriculars you had? Do they have an entrance exam?
@@teletoffee5111 The reputation of ib schools or any famous school of Mumbai isn't very good.I had previously considered the dirubai Ambani but heard the croud wasn't very good.also considered the sis in Singapore but heard their teaching staff is not very good
Hey Nitya , loved your video , but I needed a little help. I studied till 10 in cbse curriculum and was able a maintain a good grade throughout , but after seeing your video and researching IB, I am blown away . So should I apply IB this year , now and will I receive scholarship at this time . Thank you!❤❤
Hey, glad you found thevideo helpful:) Yes for sure. IB Diploma is for 11th and 12th but most of these scholarship application open while you are in 10th grade!
@@NityaA so sweet of you to reply . Thanks for the info , I'll try to reach out my 2 nearest IB schools and see what happens. Anyways really hearty thank , keep up this good work
Hey I dont know what Internship to do I just Know python and AI in some detail should I apply for research to some universities as you had made a video about?
Hey there! Could you also put the dates and application cycles of those scholarships programmes and if students going to 11th grade right now are eligible
Hi Nitya, My name is Vani and I am from CHD. I watched ur video regarding the scholarships. Since you got the Global Citizen Scholarship by Giis. It would be really helpful and kind of you if you could just share about your profiles that you sent to the school that helped you with it and about the scholarship exams, interviews etc...basically the whole process. Thanks for your amazing content, it really helps a lot.
Hey thanks:) I've worked with Java, Python and JavaScript. The number of programming languages does not matter though. Once you understand CS you should be able to pick a new langauge and write programs in days. It's the programming part that is important!
Can you share the link of the quora question which you told in the shaurya's Interview which was something like "what to do if you have a lot of different interests in a college essay?"; I tried finding out didn't get that question by searching. If you could give that link that would been the world to me.
Hi Nitya! This was such a great video. I really want to get into giis . Can you please make a video on how to prepare for giiis exam and interview and how to crack it , it will be really helpful. You are the only youtuber who is talking about this. ❤❤❤
@@NityaAHey, I’m watching your video in 2024 so I couldn’t watch your livestream. Can you please! Make a video about GIIS Global Citizen scholarship and what comes on the exam and the interview and everything. It would be really really helpful for me. I appreciate yo videos and thank you so much for introducing GIIS to me, a lot of my credit for success goes to you, 🙏
Can You make a detailed video on applying abroad with css profile and common app it would be really helpful if you did it as you explain in wonderfully!
Usually not. You can try, but if you've already started 11th grade, there's no point in repeating 11th again in the IB starting 2022. The scholarships for the academic year starting in 2021 are already over.
heyy I'll try to find someone who's done them, but since I haven't, not sure how useful a video from me would be:) You can look up the structure of the program though, it's very simple!
@Nitya A one last question please! When did you applied for admission in stonehill, before or after your 10th board exams? Also, please mention the particular month you applied in. And yeah, your videos are just great!!!!
Nitya i really need you help RIGHT NOW. PLEASE REPLY ASAP. I got into the scholarship program for stonehill through essay. If you could tell me what is the entrance paper based on, it would be a huge help!!! I come from a cbse school and it would be great if you could tell what is asked in the paper so I can prepare accordingly.
@@theanjishchunarkar6742 no actually only my essay was accepted. But i failed the test. Anyways I am going to Woodstock School in the 3rd apr. For an interview and test.
Hey Nitya, I am planning on taking ibdp course. I am from banglore too! Honestly you have been a great inspiration. I am really confused with my life and have no passions right now, I am 14 btw. I have heard that ibdp is really difficult...so did you get time after school or like after completing your studies...was it hard to manage your social life? It would really be a great help if you reply 😊
Thank you so much for this! I am planning to choose IB after 10th as i really want to study in the US:) Ik that IB for 2 years can get really expensive, your video really helped. P.S- Congrats on 1k!

Hello Nitya!! I heard virtual internships as you did with top US universities are only possible in the summer break? I have SAT test in Aug. Could you please confirm if virtual internships as you did with top US universities possible at other times as well? Could you please reply to me? I am sorry to ask you like this but I really need your help.
Hey Nitya! New subscriber! I had a question- Does Stonehill provides 100% scholarships like GIIS? How much scholarship did you receive? And as you have been selected for both the schools, which one did you find a bit easier to get scholarship? Pls do response! Eagerly waiting for it!
Hey thanks for subscribing! Up to 100% tuiton and 50% of boarding for Stonehill. GIIS were more competitive as there were apllicants all over India and the value of the schoalrship was more (since it's to Singapore).
@@NityaA Oh wow! thanks for replying so fast! I really appreciate your efforts! And thank you for the information! BTW, is 50% on boarding the maximum or do they even provide 100% on boarding costs? Do they award the scholarships on a need basis of how much a family can support the education?
@@NityaA Are only residents of Bangalore/Karnataka eligible for admission to Stonehill. I am from Kolkata, WB and am really hoping to switch my board next year to IB. Although, my family will be unable to bare the costs of it, as I lost my father this year :(
