ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS - This was one of the first exercises I learned from you Mr T! I even have my husband chanting "NOSE OVER TOES" now 😁
I followed every thing you showed us and when I went to stand my knees really hurt! I don’t know why it’s such a problem for me. My toes are gripping the floor, my knees are wider than my hips and my back is straight and I bend at the hips. I took in a breath, coughed a little and my core was activated I tried with my hands on knees and with arms up and out. I just can’t do it without hurting my knees. I always have to get up by using my arms on the side of the chair to help me stand. I’m working on my knees to put off a knee replacement. And this is an extremely important step for me to accomplish, but why can’t I??? I followed you steps perfectly. Please help!!
I know he said that whole thing about toes, but when I do a squat, I lift my toes so that I’m using my hips and not my knees. It makes a big difference for me. 🤷🏼♀️
What the hell? Are you some magician or alien? What do you mean "spread your toes"? I may curl them a bit but they won't budge in any other direction. There is no toe spreading function on my model of foot.
😂 you need to order the 'deluxe' model my friend. May I suggest this - with your foot OFF the ground sort of push down on the ball of your foot so that your toes move TOWARD your body, this should naturally spreads them a bit, see if you can separate them then with a bit more practice - good luck !
@@carolinejohn4537 thanks. My conclusion after trying: I seem to have no control over my foot. I can raise and lower the front of it in a narrow angle and curl the toes a bit beyond that range it feels to belong to somebody else.
