I unfortunately learned this concept at the end of the season but it makes like so so easy. Glad someone put this on YT for everyone else to see!!! Such a great channel. Also something I found was the more extended I could get my opponent the easier it would be to get a super deep half. Another thing is people would time it going over and explode through and I’d kinda get in weird scrambles. So just be ready to sink the half in cuz at a certain point they’re gonna start freaking out.
It should be a slow turn and also keep the opponent as extended/stretched as possible. The biggest issue that leads to rollthrus or someone getting an arm free is giving them a brief moment where they aren't totally extended or your hips are stretching them and keeping things tight.
in the first match, as a freestyle wrestling official, I would of stopped the action and warned RED not to have 2 hands on the head (RED could of used his forearm instead). "ATTENTION RED! WARNNG!". Then showed RED the violation. I do it all the time with new high school athletes.
I've only made one video on the bottom position. "This is the #1 Reversal Against Leg Riders" and it's talking about when the top guy goes cross body ride
