My brain just does not work that way. I was so proud I could finger knit. That's about as far as it gets. Hahaha my mom could whip out an Afghan quickly. Scarf literally a day or two. A hat a few hours. She was so fast so good so amazing. Me look I made a chain.. 😅😂🤣💋👌💫❤️🔥🤣😂

Half Double Crochet (hdc): Same thing, but instead of pulling first 2 loops, you pull all three and thats it. I just found that out and figured this could help someone like it did me. :)

I wrap my yarn around my pointer twice, but do basically the same thing as it is very comfortable for me. Also, you're supposed to chain 3 when doing double crochet.
My aunt learned from her grandmother and now she's teaching me and this is the first thing i learned. We call it "punto alto" but for ours we make three more stitches (catenelle) instead of two to continue the work on the next row.
Making a blanket with single crochet because I want to try crochet embroidery for the first time on it. It’s for my husband for our anniversary. It’s been 6 hours and I’m only about 7 inches in so far…wish me luck! Lol why do I always decide to do these the hardest or most time consuming ways 🫣
For the people who don’t get it this is what she saying, first you make a slipknot, and then you change however many you want then you wrap it around the yarn and then Count to stitches back and put and pull it through only through the first two then there should be two left and you pull it through the two left. and I’m still watching the video, so I hope you can understand the rest😅
So do you only put a stitch in every other? Or just skip one at the beginning of the row? Thanks for this tutorial!! I love how happy you always are and I only recently found you but you got me back into crotchet!

hi! at the end of each row, you're supposed to do a few chain stitches (for whatever reason she says two, some tutorials i've seen online say three? depends on the pattern you're using). this prevents your project from getting smaller each row, so all of your rows are consistent. then when you turn the project around to create the next row you would just skip whatever you chained (put your hook in the next stitch after what you chained). hope this helps! 💚
