The way I draw my ships is that I draw the starboard side, and only the starboard side. I usually start with the stem of the bow and work my way to the stern, the ship looks really good in the end because of the way I make details. I might do a tutorial soon on how to do this.

Sadly, This is RMS Olympic, Titanic had Promenade closed A deck unlike Olympic, her A deck is opened.

Also the 4th funnel on titanic was just to be fancy and it didint actually work

And also at the start of Olympics career, she did not have her café perisian, so her B deck promenade was very long.

What type of colour pencils do you use?

Thanks for getting in touch... I hope you liked the tutorial. The colour pencils I use are made by Rexel Cumberland - Derwent Artists fine art colour pencils and Derwent Studio Designer Quality colour pencils.

Your drawing is amazing! I draw this ships too, but with a ruler or something. Same in 3D. You can draw the Olympic?; than you can draw the Titanic because Olympic‘s A-Deck is completely opened and from Titanic is the A-Deck opened from Smokestack 1 to Smokestack 2 (a bit longer😅)

You have to really observe and look closely at the thing you are drawing. That's what I did here... then I sketched in the shape with a pencil, outlined it with a pen and coloured it using colour pencils. I hope you enjoyed my tutorial and feel like checking out more of them Happy Drawing!
