as a girl that mostly wears short shorts and crop tops during the summer, I really appreciate videos like this. because I feel that there are not enough for girl's who want to dress modestly compared to videos that have the kind of clothes I wear. I hope you continue being so sweet and helpful

Wow, I just stumbled across this video randomly. Dressing modestly is not something I personally do a lot, especially because I live in the desert and it's like 115 degrees Fahrenheit here so you really can't wear layers at all. BUT your style is amazing! I love all the dresses featured in this video, and looove the caftans. And I am obsessed with the skirts you mentioned that you wear all the time, I need some of those in my life! Where do you buy them? Or does your mom make all of them for you? I love that you dress modestly but not "frumpy." I'm definitely going to take a tip from your style

THIS. is. incredible! THANK YOU. I have been trying to dress more modest and while it's easy in the fall and winter in the summer I just have no idea what to wear anymore. A lot of advice that I've seen just ends up looking frumpy and not stylish whatsoever. This is great. You fab girlllll!

Miss Mercy That's funny because I've only ever worn something under my crop tops! I guess I wasn't using crop tops as intended but I wasn't/still not allowed to show my stomach. However, I don't really have a desire to lol.

Now I realize that, would I have thought the slightest bit outside the box, I could have been rocking some cute 'off limits' tops the entire time.

I love to wear a short kaftan with a pencil skirt. I like the tailored look, without the tight fit. Being 6'0" wearing separates are easier for getting a nice length

hey hun! So most of what I'm wearing is either simple basics you could find at H&M or mrp.com and then I have quite a few things custom made. Custom making is more effort, but it's often cheaper and you get the creative freedom!

Aiman Fatima I’ve always used whichever material I liked because I put a stiffening or puffy skirt underneath to make it stand out. So I’ve made them in cotton, duchess satin, Thai silk and African shwe shwe

Carolyn Brown hello! I highly recommend finding a great seamstress and custom making your items. It allows you to get exactly what you want and it's often much cheaper! My skirts were custom made, my one kimono from Haya Collective. I don't remember their website but im pretty sure they ship worldwide :)

Hi Eve! I actually have a "stiffening" that's like a tutu which I put under the skirt. Without it, the skirts fall a bit flat. We've used a variety of fabrics, sometimes thai silk for more formal occasions, cotton for daywear and shwe shwe african prints for a bit more fun.

A line skirts are the tight, below knee formal skirts. It's narrow at the waist and goes out slightly but still hugging you in the shape of an A. The big skirts shown here are called teacup skirts and they come in various levels of volume.

I discovered last summer that what you really have to do when it's hot is cover up not wear shorts. Loose clothes are the best. They provide shade and let air in. Omg I loved the swimsuit hack. I like loose clothes on my bottom and tight on top like you. I just find it modest (cause I have curnes on my bottom half you know) and flattering. I love long loose thin material jackets that flow over my back

In general I am not an overly modest person, but as someone with such pale skin when it gets really sunny I much prefer to wear flowy but covering clothes :)
